I hear some folks having the front plug foul and lose that jug, but mine lost the rear cylinder. I checked the plugs and cleaned them with no results. This bike has had many running problems but the dealer never can find or fix them (pinging and rough running and stalling in the cold). The dealer said that if it lost a cylinder the engine light would be on, but that doesn't come on. Anyone ever had this, if so what was the problem? |

I got it back and it was a bad plug. Dealer said that last time they reset tps and checked ecm, they ran the bike for the ecm to relearn when it was cold and it must have not been at operating temp and learned a rich setting. They say that is why it ruined the plug. I tried starting on a cold morning and it is still very hard to fire up in cold. |

It shouldn't be hard starting in cold weather. It may run a bit rough till it gets to operating temps though. Under warranty? DAve |

Yes it's a 2006. I just have some problems with warranty because of buell race kit. I rode it today (45 degrees) and it fired right up. |

If dealer X gives ya crap... I'd seek another dealer that is more realistic/forgiving. If anything, the race kit would make it run better. I think the TPS reset is always suspect. DAve |
