A pro/semi pro racer on a state of the art bike is competative on a race track. . . there's news. Is this a "bring anyone you want" deal? Your arrogance is likely being wasted on this crowd. |

Are you saying that a stock R-1, or Aprilia are "State of the art", or is that just relative to Buells? Clarkie says he's more than willing to race ANY Buell with any rider on any track, or street! |

Clarification on "Any Buell": You're more than willing to race any Buell, even race preped XBRR's, but in that case, he'll use his Aprilia SBK! |

Sounds like a perfect guy to buy a race bike and head to the track! With the money he makes he'll be commanding those $150,000/race fees in no time. Give him our congratulations! |

I have seen the light.... I now understand.... I can no longer ride just 80mph on the interstate. I need a bike I can cruise at 150mph+ And 0-60mph in ...wait there's not much difference there. But man how often do you go 0-60? You know 12second quarter miles are just 2 seconds too long. |

Yaaaaaaaaaaawn. Enjoy . . . I'll be back here, bopping along at 80, listening to "Time Loves a Hero" and deciding where to ride next week. I started sponsoring racers in 1987, I've seen the full gamut or talent and personalities. Enjoy your rocket ride down the freeway. Court |

Ya know I love my Buell and could give a sh!t what any racer whatabe thinks. It is unique and I don't blend into the squids on jap bikes. Besides who rides the freeways at 100+ on a regular basis anyhow? Who cares? |

If Buells could do 150mph there'd be those screaming 'who needs to do 200mph anyway'. I've always enjoyed my rocket rides down the freeway. Unlike Court though, I've only ridden in four States. Well, that's not including the drug induced states of course 200MPH AND MUSHROOMS ANYONE?
Now there's a challenge. Rocket |

Good grief....Buells are what they are. I'd politely decline their invitation into the 'club' and ride happily on my way. There are much better riding buds to hang out with and I don't even know them. |

Humm...I always thought that I was a bad rider and that's why I couldn't go fast. You mean all I have to do is go buy a Gixxer 1000 and I'll be as good as Ben Spies? This whole time I've been slow because of the POS bike. Wow, who'd have thought that? Especially since I rarely ever use full throttle on it, drag any parts, or get passed on the street. Even by R1s, Gixxers, Ninjas or the like. Maybe it's because I ride tight, blind twisties, off camber, with mid corner bumps, gravel, pot holes, cars pulling out of driveways, etc. Just never occurred to me to try to do 150mph on those roads. Anyone who wants to is a far, far, far stupider, er, I mean, better rider than me. |

"Good grief....Buells are what they are." Well said and exactly my point! It just kills me when I hear these uninformed children on here talking about how Buells are the greatest bike ever produced. They are merely one of thousands and certainly NOT better in very many categories! I think all of you should "trade up" to a Blast, in light of what's being said here!
