Drummer, there was a CSG there last year, or, at least I think I remember there being one. |

Whoo hooo! Everything appears to be coming together! New badges and tranny fluid will go on This Sunday. (Also test packing to make sure everything will fit) My new shock will arrive next week. I'll get it thrown on there Thursday. Test riding it as much as possible over the following week to get a feel for this thing. Leaving my house at 5:30 AM Thursday the 29th! (Assuming the neighbors don't call the cops when I start her up!)

Any of you all coming from the Great White North Thursday, riding your bikes or trailering them, if you are in need of taking a break and washing road salt and such off before you hit the twisties, PM me. I am ready and willing to set up my pressure washer, hose, soap, bucket, etc. for free. I am about 15 miles East of Knoxville Tn. I'm in the RAN. I also have plenty of room for camping, a bonfire, and bustin a beer, if anyone wants to ride down Friday with our group. I am stands up at 8:00 Friday to meet with others for breakfast on the way to the Dragon. |

WOW! That looks great! Sorry, mine won't look that good. On a positive note, here's our route! Notice the difference between Driving time and Trip time. Trip time includes a 10 minute gas break every 150 miles, plus a half hour pitstop at the dragon.
1 is my house. 2 is your (Wolf's) house. 3,4,and 5 are just points I had to make so the route followed the path we wanted to take. 6 is the Dragon. 7 is Suches. |

If you log in to HOG.com and use the ride planner, click the "shortest distance" option and it will give you same info without needing to punch in a bunch of stop points to get the correct route. RIDE DETAILS Distance: 455 miles Total time at posted speed limits: 10 hours and 12 minutes} Posted speed limits!! |

Mine was set at one click above the posted speed limit. Which is why it was 50 miles more, but only 17 minutes more. (30 of those 50 miles is from my house to yours, don't know where the other 20 is exactly.) I set mine up way above the speed limit, closer to what we'll be cruising at... And it changed the driving time to 9 and a half hours! Not bad! If we leave your place around 6:30, we should arrive at TWO around 5:00! |

Glitch. You still take the long way? Next time, go up 400 to the end, keep straight on 115, at the very end take a left, then take a right on Town Creek Church rd. Continue on to Frogtown Rd, take a left onto Frogtown Rd. Stay on Frogtown which includes a wicked bear left after a mile or two. At the very end of Frogtown take a left onto Frog Hollow. At the very end of Frog Hollow, you are at hwy 19. Halfway between the rock pile and Turners corner. No lights, no traffic, No Popo. Take a left to go to the Rock pile and a right to head to hwy 129. It's the only way I'll go and avoids all the Dahlonega Walmart traffic. |

Mikef5000 & I are coming down 129 to 180, once I get to the end of 180 how do you get to T.W.O. from there? |

Wolfridgerider, Take a left at the stop sign and T.W.O. is the first driveway on the right. Trust me you can't miss it. I caution you though, when you're heading up 129, 180 is easy to miss. Once you see Vogel State Park on the left, slow down! 180 is the next road on the left and hard to see until you're right on top of it. |

Actually, never mind the 129 to 180 conversion, unless you're headed North...You'll be coming the other way. It's easy to see from that direction. |

Dan, I've got too much shit to pack on the bike, MrsG and I will take the truck up to the cabin. I've been that way, also you can take 60, kind of boring until you get past Gainsville. 52 is ok as well. I just want to get up there as early as possible. First light, unpack, ride... May i speak for everyone travelling a day or more to get there....... |

Last night was the third night in a row I haven't slept worth a hoot because I went to bed thinking about Badness. Better find a way to sleep now, because you won't get a lot of sleep at Badness! Livnlo - it will get better! |

Man, I can't wait to head down to this event. The freakin weather up here in NY is so screwed up! This past Wed. it was in the 70's, I was riding with a t-shirt and a windbreaker. Today I wake up to this crap again:
I got 4' snow drifts on the side of my garage! I may never return home from this trip. |
