Every since I have owned my Buell, I notice that I rarely ever see them. I live in Western KY, near Paducah. I am about two hours Northwest of Nashville. When I see one I want to turn around and catch them, but I never seem to get a chance. I used to ride with a guy that owned a Firebolt back in 2004, but he divorced his wife and she got the bike I think. He moved to Ohio. Are you out there Jason?? It's Greg from KY. Anyways, I wish I could meet more people on a Buell. I know they are out there somewhere. Hell, I would ride to meet people on my long breaks from work. KyBuell |

I'm up in Lexington. The guy I bought mine from has a new Ss. I park next to a Black XB9S and sometimes an XB12R, but I have never seen the owners. I hear there is a guy in Nicholasville with a bike just like mine, but I have never seen him. Its funny, I usually see more Buells parked somewhere than I do see them riding. O yeah, I see Blasts alot more often than XB's. |

Cool...Lexington is a good ride from here. I have often thought of heading that way. I see a great deal of blasts here also. If I am ever up that way we can ride. Greg |

Imagine how I felt . . . 12 years ago . . . riding around Hopkinsville looking for another Buell. It's much easier now than it was . . . say in 1988. |

I hear there is a guy in Nicholasville with a bike just like mine, but I have never seen him. Yep, that's me. When I first found out there was a yellow XB in Lexington, I was kinda pissed. I thought for sure I was the only one within 100 miles. I bet the guys on the Japbike sites don't have these dicussions. "I hear there are 12 guys in Nicholasville with a black R-6 just like mine..." I got to ride out passed the ferry a couple times on Monday. (first ride of the new year.) Incredible riding day. We gotta get together sometime this year. Hey Greg, I was at Ft.Campbell this week, man, Paducah is out in the boonies (compared to Lex that is.) I didn't get out much but the roads all seem flat and straight. Come to central KY sometime. Later. |

^ Yeah, I've been with people and they were like "Oh, I saw you yesterday on Nicholasville Rd." And it wasn't me. And they're like "No, it was you. It looked exactly like your bike" I just laugh. I road to the ferry on Saturday. I went to Cincy on Monday and Tuesday. The weather has sucked since I have been back. Do you work on your bike yourself? I have so far. I need to change the front brake pads and the primary fluid, just wondering if you have done that. I know they are both simple, I could do them, but just having a helping hand wouldn't hurt. I've taken off the rear wheel numerous times to change tires and a belt. Changed oil, spark plugs, wires, ignition coil. Nothing major, but these bikes aren't too bad to work on. |
