Dan, I feel your pain. We've both been sacrificed on the altar of the false god Political Correctness. It's a crappy religion where we get all the inappropriate priest touching and none of the wine or crackers. Glitch, there are some definite silver linings to the cloud. I got a boss who isn't a self-serving prick, I'm not even in the same building as Imaginary Sexual Harassment Woman, and I no longer have the friend/manager conflict with a couple of my team members. I've stuck with the company through worse crap then this, and you're right that this will work out well for me in the long run. |

> crg shorties I don't buy expensive levers for the simple reason that I can't afford to keep replacing them. Perhaps it's just the Uly's particular geometry, but a drop at any speed on either side snaps the levers every time. I made my own shorties out of the stock levers, so maybe the problem is solved? I won't know until I drop the bike again. |

Hey XBullet - It sounds like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Levers are a functional item, Pretty isn't a factor. Hydraulic clutches are great on old fart cruising vessels and bikes that are engineered around 'em. I feel more through a manual clutch than liquid clutches. As for that, what's wrong with your clutch operation? |

Don't feel bad Matt, I've had 5 different positions at Delta in the last 2 years with all the "reorganizing" they've done. I list myself not as a professional student with all the training I've had... |

> I only get pairs of tires. I need to get my corner entry speed up. My back tire's getting worn, but I haven't abused the front one nearly enough. I'm with you on replacing both tires at once, though. Especially when you need to have both rims painted black while they're off! |

I usually replace both, but sometimes I be cheap and only replace the back. Like Sancheezmo, I don't do near enough burnouts with my front tire. |

i think minitrucker had a new front put on and not a rear, could be mistaken tho. the rear is lookin kinda worn (chicken strip) i've only put about 400 miles on the bike since i got it tho and there is quite abit of tread on the sides. just got back from the Y, nothing like gettin up at the ass crack of dawn to go work out, im goin to shower up and go ride. anyone down? it's a bit chillish out, i was thinkin about headin to the beauford dam area. |

Buford dam? On the weekend? Watch out for the man. Hell of a lotta traffic up there too, although, since it's like, 32 degrees at the dam, right now, you should be ok. |

We had a scrimmage game. Too windy and cold to be doin this kind of shit! BRRR! I'll probably ride this afternoon sometime. Maybe, if I can get everything done. I will ride tomorrow in the afternoon, I'm pretty sure, at the very least, a local run. |

sorry guys, been travelin'. stuck in the mountains with no scooter today. hiawassee sure is pretty through a windshield, though... kdan -- about the hydraulic clutch cable, i had one on my old sporty and i liked the feel. it's easier on discs and has it's own feel which i am not unfamiliar with, especially since i don't really feather my clutch. and with the levers, i like the adjustment on the clutch side b/c i wear several different gloves depending on temperature. that and i like to look good when i get where i'm goin'. sanchez -- crg shorties could be protected by hvmp bar ends (which are also on the list to get). they make a set for Uly that works with the handguards.... btw..how bout a pic of your cut off stockers? i should do mine in the meantime. hey Jolf!! i've never had heated gear, and although i'd like to have some, i've only got a little money to spend and higher priorities since it's only cold a few months out of the year. that bein' said, i have methods of stayin' warm. just tell me what parts are coldest and i'm sure i've got a trick to stay warm. and if i don't, someone else will. i love badweb! while we're on bad weather, bass pro shops has frog toggs for 42 bucks OTD! i bought my first set for over 100! they make for great raingear.
