I've got a bunch of stuff on Ebay right now. There's a bit of interest from buyers overseas. More often than not people will pay more for shipping than they would to buy the item new. It doesn't make sense to me. Most want to pay through PayPal. Anyone know why someone would want to do that? |

I too wondered that. I had a person in France buy a XB12 rim, paid $80 in shipping costs. They paid w/ paypal and it was no problem. The paperwork at the USPS was a pain though. I think the parts are so difficult to get a hold of and their money vs the US dollar exchange rate must just be right. |

If the seller does not accept Pay Pal. I generally will not buy anything. With Pay Pal I have some protection if I get stiffed. Buying from someone that does not use Pay Pal they would have to have excellent feedback 99%+ Jeff |

We have had nothing but bad luck when it comes to overseas buyers. They usually crap when you send them an invoice and the shipping is so high. We set our ebay account up so that only people with paypal and in the lower 48 can bid on anything we are selling. Plus, if they start asking a bunch of "stupid" questions we put them on our blocked bidders list. We don't need negative feed back because someone didn't like something we had clearly listed. |

With the exchange rate our stuff is dirt cheap to them |

Just sold a carbon fiber chin fairing and belt guard to a guy in France. Shipping was $47 through USPS and the guy paid instantly with PayPal. It all spends the same. Only way though is using PayPal. |

What's really stupid is I sold a seat to a guy in Canada and shipping thru USPS was $24. Seems a little high considering it's half the cost to ship to france yet a hell of a lot closer! |

I bought a stock muffler for my X1 and won the auction at $15! Shipping was almost twice that That's my backup in case my tired old "daytona boss" can rattles off again. (hasn't done that since I BRAZED the hangers to the can) |
