Air or electric impact gun. Why are you pulling the sprocket?

Yikes! TWO sockets? Well, that's what 240 ft-lbs and red loctite will get you, I guess.

Don't use an impact gun. I've heard that from a few people I trust.

But an impact SOCKET with a yet larger breaker bar or pipe might be a good idea at this point.

Heat does the trick!
Because of the red Loctite you got to heat that nut and I really mean heat
To lock up the primary unit you need a primary locking bar.Clutch nut is left threaded.
How did you try to loose the engine sprocket nut without locking the primary?

primary locking bar

Dealers use impact guns. Their locking tool is a hard plastic wedge shaped like a small staircase. It's jammed between the chain & clutch basket. Use a torque wrench to tighten.

impact guns may vastly shorten the life of your stator --

newer replacements are even shipped with the warning stamped into them . . . .

lil heat will do wonders -- MAPP gas torch worked for me

I just slapped in a locking bar (home fabricated) and stood on a 24" breaker bar (not a ratcheting wrench, just a breaker bar) and bounced a few times.

Make sure you turn it the correct way, one of the two is backwards (Crank nut maybe?). It's in the manual.

Crank is right hand thread, clutch hub is left hand thread.

Top gear & have someone hold the rear brake. Turn clockwise to loosen.

1 3/16 socket
breaker bar
with cheater
bar
i pair snap
snap ring
pliers
& a jam bar

thats it...
whats the correct torque specs on a 96'

There is an updated torque spec on the crank nut I think. The manual has a torque that is not quite tight enough. I am thinking 120 foot pounds for the crank.

I stand one foot out on my breaker bar and gently bounce twice.

From my manual, calls for 150-156 with red 262 threadlocker.
Clutch is 70-80,again with red.

Plagarist!!
I recognize that.
Except it's supposed to be 150-165.
