Let me get this straight, I can have a track day at Barber, or Mid Ohio, or Road America, for $150? What's the catch? Who cares! I signed up for Road America & Mid Ohio! http://www.buell.com/en_us/news_events/insidepass/ index.asp |

I was planning on traveling 6 hours to go to the Streets of Willow, but the novice group is sold out for 10/17! I do not have the gear for the intermediate group. I am so disappointed |

Holy crap! I've never done a track day before and now I have an opportunity to get my feet wet as a novice for only $100 and less than about 30 miles from my house (Motorsport Ranch - Cresson, TX). I'm in. Just hope I finish the day with as many parts on my bike (or body) as I started with. |

Am I the only one going to Barber on the 31st ?? I know it conflict with MBIV, but my time away from work is pretty restricted right now. Long weekends are not in the picture. |

Towjam: Texas is full of tracks. You will love it. Best time you can have on a bike! You should PM Ortega Kid and Dago. They do TX track days all the time. Ortegakid (Dereck) is a very high level rider, been at it for a long time. Both of them are very friendly and helpful guys. Since they both bought R6s they have not been on Badweb much anymore. I think that they still have their Buells for street rides though. |

AzRider, What gear you need? Let's see if we can find you some stuff. Leathers? Boots? I've got spares (if you fit) Don't miss it if you can help it! |

The Willow springs event is already sold out at the novice and intermediate level. There are still expert slots open. Looks like I won't be going..:-( Al |

Al, Sign up for expert, then just ride slower than everyone else. Tell the officials that you're helping train the fast guys on the proper technique for lapping slower riders! HellBuelly J "Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything." --Wyatt EarpBuelly |

Signed up for VIR on 9/12. This is gonna be a riot! Been surfing/searching around and there seems to be a lot of buzz about these events, all over the place. We may be in for a whole new "herd" of Badwebbers through contact at the tracks. See ya'll out there! Tank |

Towjam, I'll be at Cresson at the October event, too. Check the track map for Cresson on their website; that track was MADE for Buells! Lots of tight turns and not very long straights. I've been there twice before and loved it and that was before they finished the newer, even twistier section! I believe there'll be a couple of other Austin guys coming as well. Gonna be funnnnnnnnnnnnn..... HellBuelly J "I feel safer on a racetrack than I do on Houston's freeways." --A.J. FoytBuelly |

James, I like the way you think. I did just that. I've got enough sport bike time on the streets under my belt, I'll be fine, and if I'm not, they'll kick me back to intermediate and promote someone from there. There's no way I'm missing this event. Every level needs a backmarker, right? Al |

I'm registered for June 7 Road America. I'm using it to sort out the race bike before the July CCS races the same weekend as the Homecoming. I hope to bring several other members of the Waterloo crew with me! |
