I searched the KV and found some good topics on the idea of nitrous... but i am just wondering what you everyones ideas are and what sort of results you guys have had with both wet and dry shots? Thanks, Alex | ||

Alex,I had a wet system on my bike--carbed. Worked very well. Dry system needs some way to add fuel to keep from leaning out system and destroying a piston. Most use a PC but seems they are not available for the Buells,so don't really know how you would get around that. | ||

If your PC is short for Power Commander, then they are available (sort of). The PCIII (K&N misbranded as a PCII) works on all models. I am running one on my 2004 XB12R. The updated maps weren't around when I added the exhaust and it works very well. Once I pony up for a map for my Special OPS pipe I'll be getting rid of the PCIII. You can usually still find them for sale for the S3 and X1 - the S3 model has longer cables, that's the only difference. If I had the $ (and the nuts) to do nitrous it'd be on the bike already. | ||
