Hey guys, Just bought a cityx. Itching for a warmish day. I live in Central AR. I love going north though. It takes like an hour to get to any good roads that way. Hwy 10 is alittle closer. |

I live in NWArkansas so if you want to find out where some more good roads are, yell at me and we'll see what we can come up with. Me and a friend will be in Little Rock Sat May 19th, leaving Sunday on the bikes heading back to WI, taking a couple of days and going the scenic route. I don't know much about the area north of Little Rock, and my friend heather has never been to Arkansas, so any suggestions on a good scenic route and/or twisty roads heading north, and what not to miss seeing ?? CJ (hope someone is reading this thread, seems a little dead !!) |

I'll be back home in Ark in the next couple of weeks, I can't believe it !! |

Alright I got your cell # thank you ! I tell you we didn't see maybe one Buell going other direction, and I don't recall seeing ANY women riding except on back !?? We did have a younger guy on a Ninja stop and chat, I ask what I could expect in finding riding buddies after I move back for good. He told me either young crazy crotch rocket riders or Old drunk rednecks, great !!! It was a great trip back to WI, 2 1/2 days and trip meter clocked us at 980 miles when all was said and done. Route was through NE Ark (we are planning a NW trip later this year, fingers crossed), MO, Iowa and finally cut over in IL to Milwaukee !! Roads were great, weather was great, no speeding tickets, and got lots of cool pics !! I'll try to post up some pics, but it won't be on this thread, too much work for One Cochise to view HA !! |

Hey CJ, maybe you should hold your trip off, or make another one this October. Bikes, Blues and BBQ and the ATC Fall Fling will be the first week in October. I will be leading rides every day of that week, and you won't have to pay for a Motel because you can stay at my house or in a tent in the yard. We should have another YOUNG lady on an XB like last yeard and I think you'll have a great time. |

Hey CJ, maybe you should hold your trip off Hold off, silly boy, I'm moving to Arkansas probably end of June, Little Rock !! My communication skills aren't great I see !! We actually put the two bikes in back of the Budget rental truck, I brought all my furniture & belongs to Arkansas. Unloaded the bikes, and rode back to WI for a couple more weeks for work reasons, they are putting me up next month in a furnished apartment !! |
