I made 49 of them. So as to not seem like I am profiting from them, production is now limited to only 49 (didn't Erik start out with 50 RR1000s? I might have to make one more). SO... anyone that wants one can get one while the supply lasts. I will append the list to confirm everyone's reservation. Added to the list: Stealthxb Wolfridgerider New12r That's 13/49. |

I will donate for one... but what does it do? I guess its some way to lock down the tranny when working on the engine? Pardon my ignorance... |

Yes, it locks the rotor and clutch basket down so you can remove the fasteners that hold them on. Invaluable if you need to replace a stator on any Buell or if you need to get to the trans on a tuber. 15/49. Here's the breakdown on expenses: $110 for 10 XL BEER t-shirts + shipping (don't know what that will be yet) So far, I've collected $36 dollars from the patrons of the Cannon. They were limited to a maximum of $1 per person, so $36 was actually a pretty good haul and I'm not quite finished shaking down the rest of them. I'm thinking if I can at least get $2 for each lockbar, that'll cover the expenses and I might have enough left over to buy my drinking buddy and conspirator in this endeavor, Mike Conrey, an IPA at the Cannon. Any money left over after expenses will go to a non-partisan organization that assists families of soldiers serving overseas in Columbus, Georgia, the home of Ft Benning, the largest infantry training base in the US. |

Time to schedule your fluid changes!!! We're closing in! I already had the X1 dismantled and replaced all fluids,isolators(F&R),muff.mount.,throttle cables, swingarm bearings,TPS,brake pads,&air filter. Now the XB is in the service bay,but with only 5300 miles, is just getting brake, primary&engine oil....and Diablo corsaIII tires.I think i'm nuts offering the XB to my nephew for MB-IV...But i like the X1... |

I didn't get a chance to post any yesterday, cause I was Riding!. All day! The 129, 180,60 loop looks good, a little sand on Wolf Pen, but really no big deal. I ran up to the Cricket store and had lunch with Mountain Rider's lovely bride. Enjoy the weather the next couple of days, cause it looks like the weekend is going to suck. Oh, and watch the cops on hwy 400. Even Tuesday morning there was a significant police presence. I kept it to 5 over. No cops at all in the Mtns. My guess is they are saving it up for the weekend. |
