Go CJ, Go CJ, Go CJ........wish I had a dozen wives. Bound to do something right by one of em. You helping Rum out on his bracket? I got material and dimensions. Looking into ways of cutting it as to not mess it up. Its the holes that will need bored I worry about. Gonna start with a chunk and put holes in it then split it and work it from there. Let me know if you got any ideas as the more heads to think the better. Thanks.........Mattu |

Proud of myself for figuring it out. Im NO computer geek. Still working on your bracket for the catch can. I got the rough piece done but ran into a snag with the cuts that need made. I'll stick with it. Got all bodywork on bike as well as wheels and Forcewinder. Looking better than ever. Hope you come home with a pocketfull of money. Ceeya............Mattu |

Ok how did you do the picture thing i suck at it. The bikes are looking good even the before pictures. Well i didn't win shit i think i like moutaineer better its owned by the same people and it looks the same inside. But just to many people in Erie. I had more fun going to Petco and wasting money on my dogs those crazy little bastards. I dropped the catch can off at my work and told my guys where to cut the top off for me. I'll drill and tap it tomorrow hopefully i sent my header home with one of my good friends (John aka-Peewee)also he works for me. The bracket was cracked on it he's going to mig it for me before we wrap it. All my parts should be here monday & tuesday as long as UPS isn't running behind. My freebie handle bars aren't going on the bike now. Peewee decided to take the Quad out one more time before he started tearing it down. Well he rolled it and bent the renthals real bad. But i don't care as long as he didn't get hurt and he didn't so all good. Last night we completely destroyed the the S1 we got the forks & swingarm off all thats sitting there now is frame & engine and we still had time to get and inspection sticker on the wifey's Grand Am. We where busting a$$ last night to get shit done. So we could get the new studded tires on the Pit bike and rip and tear on that little thing. I've ridden alot of dirt bikes but that thing is a riot to mess around on. If you ever get a chance to jump on one im telling you you'll want to buy one when your done. I told the wife i was going to buy one and shes like not before we buy me a new Suv. I told her we could get studed tires for a pit bike and she could ride it back and fourth to the hospital she didn't like that idea. Oh ya when you get the Bracket done im going to come on down to pick it up if thats ok. Well i'll talk to ya later. Clint D |

I used to have a Yamaha YSR50. You want stoopid? Try doing stoppies and wheelies as well as stoplight to stoplight drags in downtown Columbus. Yes there were fines, and when that wasnt enough, JAIL TIME promised. Sadly the police dont see it as havin' fun. Sorry to hear about your bud. Also your gambling loses. Its only one reason I dont hang out in em too much. Broke a bit on the bench trying to cross -drill the bracket. I'm working on getting another and continuing. Its a harder grade of aluminum but still shouldnt have broke. Maybe bad from drilling some of the stainless I worked before. You are ALWAYS welcome at my place. Just have to make the time to be here. LOL One more week at work and its hello Florida. Wish I could have got to Bike Week. Its always the same though. Always crowded with bikes and people and beer and babes.........sigh. Maybe next year. Gotta have your pics in jpg format. Court hooked me up with a site that can compress your pics too. I'll find it and get it to you. |

Well, that work s--t is TOTALLY OVERATED! I've been bustin it for da man. I'm not allowed to take Lindsay with me. Sigh. (divorce sucks) I'm not happy to report a massive error on my part. I screwed up on design 1 of the bracket. I got the hounds out looking for more stock. Will the delron work with the idea of replacing it later. Or are not in that big of a hurry? Let me know and I apologize.......Mattu |

Well, I started with 1/2 inch and thought it was too bulky. Then went to 7/16 and that looked pretty good until I broke the bit off inside. Like I said I worked some stainless and probably stressed it out. |

Rode with Lindsay today around the nieghborhood. Put on about 25 miles. Got chilly then went home. 1st annual welcome spring ride done. |

rum-Soak the wrap in water, I just leave mine in a bucket and wrap it right from the bucket onto the pipe. tear off several 12" sections of duct tape and save for later. Is your header removed, if not do so. since its removed might as well replace the gaskets, there 5 bucks total. put the header in a vice, and clamp it down so it won't move-wrap it in a towel or something similar as to not scratch it too bad. After letting the wrap soak for a bit-30 min should be plenty, and yes the black(if you got black) will wash out but no biggie, start at the rear most head pipe where it goes into the head and wrap the end a few times, and then with overlap move towards the junction of the pipe keeping as tight as you can-it takes patience. when you get to the junction or where you want to end cut and wrap some duct tape around it. start the front most head pipe at the same spot you just finished by removing the duct tape and wrapping a few times with exhaust wrap and then working your way to the header/head junction, continually keeping tight until you reach where you want to stop. put some duct tape on it. find a 2" max gasket clamp. remove duct tape and put gasket clamp over final wrap spot on header. I have done it this way a couple of times and never had any problems. At one point the header wrap was so well done it masked a large crack/break that I had incurred on my header. I also painted mine black with high temp paint when I was done. Upon startup after reinstalling it stinks a bit and will smoke some, but don't worry, just ride. I also think it makes them sound better, but that just an opinion. I hope this helps. |

Ceejay, Yeah that helps thanks. Mattu, Usually x-large so when it goes in the dryer it becomes large. Im also going to check on that aluminum tonight hopefully its the right thickness. You ever get rid of that chin fairing just wondering. |
