Hey y'all!!! Yesterday I flew outta a whale's vagina and landed in a tornado! I have been in San Diego on business. Have not caught up with the thread yet, but hope all is well. |

Mrs G - We are leaving in 1 hour to take our 11 year old to DC for a week-long conference. While we're driving her there and back, it's still scary to leave your child in the hands of others. The children will be taking charter buses all throughout the week, even as far as Philly. I feel your anxiety. Watching them fly solo is one of the hardest parts of parenting, even if it's just a little bit. On a much lighter note....MBIV is this month!! (Message edited by Ulywife on March 02, 2007) |

I fear for the person I leave my children with. Especially the little one. If Hannibal Lechter were a girl... Stealth, Jonah, right?! From the bible! I saw that on PBS. |

tornadoes are so devastating cause they just pop up and you don't know where they are going to hit. i feel for the loss of those in the school that were affected by the tornado. |

Very interesting! Gonna continue the Warplane look? Id like to ask if it took anything more than bolton to put that front and rear on the bike? Never measured the fork dia. Did you slide the tubes right in or did you have to use tripples too. Looks like the rear was a bolton affair. Very cool indeed.......CURIOUS.......Mattu |

Yep, I have a couple of more touches to add to the warplane look. The timing cover will probably be olive drab with a white star, and I might do a white star on the front fender too. And of course, there have to be some rising sun kill stickers on the side of the tank. I didn't build the bike, but I'm pretty sure the previous owner had to use the XB triples. The rear wheel requires some spacers. There are a few threads about the swap from other people who've done it over in the Old School Buell forum if you'd like more details. |

at least we can buy our shifter pedals separate. little brother had to replace shifter pedal AND all linkage. grand total, 82 dollars for a fifteen dollar shifter arm. Jolf -- congrats on your new-to-you buell and your first bust up. may it be the first of few! Sanchez -- wicked. kinda reminds me of "Bruce" from Finding Nemo. only stoned. Played around in the dirt today ,just about forgot how much fun it is. The ground is pretty wet and makes for some great riding.

Jolf... get a bolt and some fuel line for in the meantime. just screw it into where the old toepeg was on the shifter arm. (don't know the threadpitch offhand, but i'll bet somebody will throw that up here in short form.) i have done it to everything from my shovelhead to my buddy's GSXR. matter of fact, my shovel still has that bolt/fuelline setup on it! |
