AMA membership with MoTow option is great and very reasonable. Covers bikes and other vehicles you own. I've used the service twice, (once for bike, once for car). Very happy with the service. |

This raises a few questions for me. When I bought my '03 firebolt brand new in 2004, I got: 1. a year of roadside service 2. brag membership 3. two free magazines for a year ("enthusiast" & "fuell" I think) 4. a gas card worth $100 for free gasoline 5. patches, pins, stickers etc. in the mail I just bought a new '07 a month ago and so far Iv'e received zero/zilch/nada from buell. What's up with that? No more frills & extras from BMC? |

Well Fritz, You could look at it this way. Instead of a c-note and some silly favors, you got the following: 1. Lower list price 2. Bigger forks 3. Better gear box 4. Twice as long a warranty 5. better tires 6. Better belt - I know you're probably going chain if you haven't already, but you could sell your belt set up to an 03 owner for more than your chain conversion will cost you. 7. And - here is the cool part, you still got the crappy headlights to bitch about. Seems to this streetfighter that you came out way ahead- am I right, my brothers? PS How is your damper project coming? |

I use MTS. It costs $89/Yr and they'll tow 300 miles w/o charge. |

Jon, Thanks for putting it all in perspective for me. I feel a great deal better now. I don't know what I was thinking! Really, Thanks! |

Thanks all for the suggestions. I found that I have Roadside Assistance with my insurance from Progressive... I have never used it on any of my other bikes. I did use Honda Roadside Assistance last year on my Goldwing when I cut the rear tire when traveling by myself in Arkansas... called the number and a rollback was there within the hour and took me about 30 miles to Little Rock Honda and in about another 2 hours was back on the road again... no charge for the tow truck, I just signed the slip. I did have to pay for the new tire and mounting. I take long road trips alone so I would like to have Roadside Assistance available wherever I happen to have a problem. Has anyone used Progressive Roadside Assistance? Dickc |

From the page 5 of the Winter 2007 "FUELL" magazine that I just opened at work (Central Texas H-D/Buell, Austin): "Some previous BRAG member benefits (ex: Roadside Assistance Program, Travel Insurance, Shipping) will remain available for Buell owners, for a fee and where applicable." So it appears that it may still be available somehow; we just have to pay for it seperately. Anybody know how?
