Thanks Gam for the list. The sales guy in Boulder told me the plugs get changed. Do they pull them to inspect? I was hoping they would read them because of all pinging that went on this summer. Thanks for the info! |

Not sure if they inspect them.. but I would think probably not given the descriptions above. Everything is pretty much check/adjust etc... and the plugs are only listed for 'Replace' at 10k and 20k. When I had my 5K done.. the plugs were never mentioned. |

Plugs get replaced at 10k but it sounds like some techs like to cross thread them sooner than that(ouch!). I need to replace mine as I'm 4k over do. I've been reading up on all the helpful tips to prevent rounding off inner airbox bolt heads and cross threading plugs. |

Got her back today and wow what a difference a clutch adjustment makes! Seems to run pretty good to. They did change out plugs and they looked good. So thought I would follow up. Oh and they got the recall done(bank sensor) I also signed up for giving my bike up for direct connect training for next month for a couple of days. For I think he said $400 for the usb key. Their going to tune the race ecm. Does anyone have a URL that would give me info on this? This tech is flying in to train the techs on this new way of tuning buells. The SM said they will be the only ones that can unlock the ecm and change things you normally couldn't do before. He also said they can get them to run 30 degrees cooler. Thanks in advance.
