speaking of EBAY, I saw last week an ignition module, that was cheap, $10?, I forgot to bid on it because there was plenty of time, now I don't see it. I hope someone from here got it! |

I got the last one for $10, I didnt need another! I got an SE ignition for $100. Sadly it turned out to be defective (although it was brand new in the package). |

I just happened to be parusing around YouTube and came across a pretty good video of Sportsters doing wheelies. While that was entertaining and all randomly at 60 seconds into the video I see none other than our faithful P3 doing a 12 o'clock completely vertical wheelie. Just thought I would pass it along as I enjoyed it, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WOzCOCbwXk&mode=re lated&search= |

There is a new HD dealer in Maryland that is pro Buell. It is called Old Glory HD. So if you live in MD and are looking for a dealer to service the Buell look them up. They are the only one that I know of the advertises that they has a trained Buell tech on site. Nicest bunch of people I've ever met working for HD. No pressure, plenty of answers and were thrilled that I was a Buell rider. Even if it is only a little Thumper. Talked to Tony in service, and he was extremely helpful. Unfortunately they still don't know when they will be getting Buell accessories in stock yet, but they will order anything you want. They may become my dealership for service when I can't do it. I know that people have been talking about them in the Storm Fronts section. I wonder if they would be interested in becoming a sponsor on the web site. |

I'm stuck in a hotel room tonight in Alpena! Fricken like ZERO out! No bikes out today, but I saw a few snowmobiles. I hear spring is on March 21, I have a friend that wants to go to Sault Ste. Marie for a Black Sabbath concert on the 20th so maybe I will arrange for some more work up here later this month! I probably won't ride the bike though.... |

Finally got my V&H installed and took the bike out. I LOVE the sound. It's not near as loud as I feared it would be. Picked up jets today. Get them put in and time for a ride. |

OK maybe my becoming "special" in my old age but I can't find the "how to" on changing Cams anywhere in the knowledge vault....I was sure that I had seen it there at some point though I may be wrong. After calling all the HD and Buell places in my area the best quote I got was 3 hours (at $135 per hour) and that's too much (the Buell place said 5 hours minimum) so when I return from this trip I'm ordering the Pro Series CAM and doing it myself. If anyone knows where the how to is please lead me in the right direction and anyone with hints please post-em. |

Use the service manual, it is pretty straight forward. You need to remove the rockerbox to get tension off the lifters, and while you are in there you should replace the oil pump drive gear to the new high performance one. It is not that hard of a job to do. |

really unimpressed with the service manual. will I need to replace the Rocker box gasket as well? |
