Could an '03 Ranger P/U safely carry two Buells' ?? Both in sport chocks. They should fit, but you may have one in backwards. Barker had two bikes in his S-10 and the rangers bed is about the same size. |

Thanks to one of our local TV news channel's "Investigative Reports" about the lawless hooligans (myself included) who parade up to N. Georgia every weekend and destroy the peace and tranquility of the scenic N. Ga mountains, expect local and state lawmen of various types to be out in force and rain on our parade this year. Hopefully they will re-run the report again in the next few days and I will be able to give everyone something more specific than this -- |

Same story just re-run. Looks like they are trying road blocks. Dont sweat it too much, other riders will let us know where they are. |

March is coming in like a Lion!! It had better go out like a lamb!! Its raining big time today and with all the melting snow, it should make for some "good" flooding. Just as long as the roadS get cleaned off I'll be happy. Is the Hudson crew is staying at http://www.highvalleyresort.com/ ? 27 DAYS!!!!!!!!!! |

At least the rain will wash away the road salt and sand. Never been there so not sure about rock and mud slides though ( we tend to get those here on 218). |

You don't have to sweat the law giving you a hard time as long as you keep it sane. March Badness is a big deal, it's pretty much gone national. The people of Suches enjoy having us, they really dig our boost to their economy. What they don't want/deserve is to have a bunch of visitors coming and wearing out their welcome. You can have fun in the mountains without getting the local people riled up. The law is going to be around because big events like this attracts law enforcement. Take it the way you will, weather you like or dislike the Law, they are there and you're going to have to deal with it. The most ticketed offense I've seen has been for crossing the double yellow line, failure to maintain control, striking a fixed object, and traveling too fast for conditions. I ride fast, I admit it, I've also not had a ticket while in the North Georgia Mountains. Stay sane, stay alert, give warning to others (tap your helmet), and heed the warning given by others, and I'll bet you have a good time. Don't act like an idiot and you won't be treated like one. |

Make sure your registration and license is in order (and you can prove it). A friend of mine had his bike confiscated because of registration 'issues'. Use your head when you get there. There will be plenty of opportunities to test your mettle on the roads without riding like a maniac. |

Don't act like an idiot and you won't be treated like one. Get the f*ck outa here!! Wow. What a concept! I've never gotten a ticket in No. Ga. Mtns either. I've had a finger wagged at me once or twice. I probably deserved it though. |

Make sure your registration and license is in order... And while it's not the law, have your insurance card with you as well. Makes the police have less to check up on if you get pulled, the less they have to do, the better for everyone. |
