I have the Harley-Davidson heated gloves. They keep my hands very warm, but they're also very bulky. I feel disconnected from the bike while I'm wearing them. Perhaps some Polly heaters are a better option? It seems like the gloves would be warmer because the heating elements sit on the tops of the fingers between the wind and your skin. Opinions? | ||

I had a pair of gloves that were much thicker on the tops and the palms were fairly thin. The idea was for people with heated grips to keep the feel of the bike and also allow more heat into the palms and fingers and at the same time the winter weight on the backs would insulate. I do not know where I got them but they worked well until I loaned them to a friend and he lost them. I think I will search around and get another pair. | ||

I really didn't care whether I used heated gloves or heated grips. The added insulation didn't make me feel isolated. I just didn't want to need heat and not have the right equipment or have to carry it around. When you head over the plateau, the weather can drop 20 degrees. It's worst in the spring and fall. I don't want to leave Nashville with 60* weather to end up on the plateau with 40* weather and not have the right equipment. Now I have heat all the time. | ||

I just added the HVMP bar ends. So far so good. We'll see what happens. |
