if your looking for turn by turn directions you will need to buy the detailed US map-----$99 (I think) I don't have the cord either--- $34 (I think) The unit went for ~300 and the car mount was about $35. (Message edited by damnut on February 05, 2007) |

So who is up for breakfast/lunch this weekend? ANY You guys want a set of plans on how to build a chopper frame or a Jig? Greg you may like these being a machinist. I bought them last year and ran off coppies at work. Got a couple extra sets. Erik I have a CD of AutoCad ready for you. If we don't meet I will drop it off to you sometime this weekend. Never got to the post office this week. I admit I am a slacker. Jim I dug them pegs out of the shed for you. Whenever we meet next I will bring them. Started to tear the bike down. Getting ready for some new toys on the bike. Things I have ready to install: - LSL Steering Damper - Free Spirits Extra Trail Bearings (installation tool is in the mail & on its way) - New Rear Shock from Traxx. (Got this from gent._jon/were the same weight) - All New Hardware for Front Fork Rebuild. (Think I will have that Bellingham Guy do them, Anyone Got a Number Or Address) Will get new springs/revalved. - Chain Conversion - Nitrous - Headers/wrap - New Rizoma Bar End weights/slidders - All new fliuds Dang...More Than I was Expecting..... Erik......What is the deal with your Co. sponsorship here? Will we be getting a discount at all? (10% at least I am hopping. More is better) I will be ordering more stuff shortly and just want to know if they want my buisiness. If not it goes to DaveS....10% discount Not to beat this to death but I met Jim at Precision the other day, I must say they have come a LOOOng way since my last visit.(In NO WAY am I saying I like them!!) But the amount of BUELL stuff was VERY eye apealing. Buells In the front of the store when You first walk in. (not hidding in a small corner). Buell shirts/hats etc. IN THE FRONT W/ THE BIKES...They Gained a little very little} bit of respect back from me. I was SURPRISED.....JOE is still a D!CK though..That will never change. |

Outstanding set of mods. there Eric. And everyone knows where i stand on Modifications. But you've chosen(the first 4 items anyway+NOS) some very respectable mods. Good luck. Just what fork tools do you have anyway? And if you us Pete Kates at GMD you spent too much on your seals/bushings,which are most likely just fine. But overmaintaining is always better than any of the alternatives.Forks are way easy if 'ya gots the proper tools like a Spring compressor, and a bushing tool(most valuable),and the Motion pro brand oil tool for refilling to the proper level. 'ya know,we've enough guys' between us where we could do the co-op thing.that's how i have the hoist for my bike,i don't even own it. Breakfast?? when?? ok,i'll say it.....the junkie that i am.....dessert??? I ordered the brownies........with 'nuts i scored another consulting job at my old employer for saturday afternoon, they don't know how to program screw threads on their CNC lathe. And they had the balls to ask me to give it verbally over the phone.I don't think so,they agreed to pay me from the time i leave my doorstep, otherwise it won't be worth my time,i can program those in only a few minutes.Gotta get at least 4 hours@ $40/hr. |

hey Greg! It is SNOWING!... Just what fork tools do you have anyway? I gots the oil filer tool and the spring tool. No bushing tool but Al told me how to do it w/ a piece of PVC and a little bit-o-heat}... Good on you for the "consulting" time. we doing Breakfast/lunch/desert or something this weekend? I am always game. maybe meet in bellingham and you can show me the GMD guys house? I will drop my forks off to him and let him do his magic,I hope he will allow me to watch as they come apart/go together, they should be out in the next couple days. Got the chain kit just about done, ran out of thread locker just as I was mounting the rotor to the rim. I hate it when that happens. how we gona do co-op thing? Isn't that a job helper or something? OH Yea.... THIS PLACE IS DEAD>>WHATS UP WITH THAT?.......... |

Jim....Not sure what I am doing with it, may use it on the chain, Saintly is calling me today and he may do some R&D on it. It is yours If nothing Pans out. Eboos...Yea let us know the deal on sponsorship or at least a discount, I don't really care if they sponsor BW. But the 10% is nice. I need a battery, some gaskets, a few other odds/ends. Did you guys see The new sponsor on BW is Seminole Buell Shop, AND they offer a 15% DISCOUNT to BadWebbers! That is very apealing right now. They also seem to be a stand alone Buell shop. SO my bike is torn down. Forks are out, tripples are off, and I want to get in touch w/ the BELLINGHAM GUY. Who has his number/address? Maybe show me where he lives this weekend after breakfast/lunch or whatever. I'd Like to get in touch with him right away so I can put this back together. |

Eboos, i haven't met you yet but i've been in Sheldons a few times in the past week or so. picked up my Buell skull cap and to snoop around for Buell goodies... what's up with the showroom? the B bikes are all in the corner, very lonely. i got one of those gift certs and the parts chick said i needed to spend AT sheldons... i roamed around, but no B goodies to be found except a set of heel guards. got a call yesterday asking how my 'experience' was at Sheldons. i was confused, asked if they meant service over the summer... 'no, you were in browsing'... me, 'uh, i wandered around looking for something to spend my gift cert money on but you didn't have anything Buell. i'm not interested in Harley stuff' ... chick on phone, 'OH. Ah, ok. sorry about that'... hahaaa! hope you bring new life to the dealership from a Buell perspective... i'm here to support! I used to do all my buying through Daves but more than happy to start flowing my cash through you. are Buell sales really that down in our area? i started worrying that Sheldon's would drop Buell. hope not. good luck man, i know its gotta be a tough road. i'm anxiously watching the sponsorship and discount too. |

I am having a hard time getting the dealership to stock items because they aren't seeing enough traffic for Buell accessories. I tried to get them to place an order for a variaty of stuff when I first got there, and that got shot down. We need to start getting some items on special order for customers to establish a sales history before they will keep them as a stocking item. Even if and when we do become a site sponsor, it may be some time before we stock items, so everything will likely be a special order. Asking them to take a leap of faith has not worked, we need to start making some sales before they will commit to anything. Sheldon's is not going to drop the brand due to the Rider's Edge program. The woman that you talked to doesn't even work at the store. She is at a call center out in St Croux. She probably doesn't even know what a Buell is. When you return to the shop you need to speak to me (Erik, that should be easy to remember ) or Shane the parts manager. Shane so far has given me the most support. |

makes sense. appreciate you trying though. gotta be tough. ordering doesn't bother me, used to wait for stuff from Dave all the time. too bad i just wrapped up placing all my winter orders, i'll give you my biz for anything next that comes up. start getting some sales through there. what days do you work? there are two guys that i usually end up talking with but they doze off once they hear i have a Buell everyone is always super-nice, just more HD focused. is Jay still there? he was the other Bueller i would end up chatting with. |

Jay left about a year ago. I work everyday except Tuesday. Shane is here on Tuesdays, so at least you will be covered on my days off. I also have been doing some off site Buell events, so I was out a couple of my normal scheduled days. Jim, I will let you know at the end of the day weather or not I can match the price. |
