Yes, please send pics if you can. I'm interested in the exhaust. Color of bodywork? Rum gets first shot at the tank though. |

that tank would not work on a S1 without mods, plus the X1 is fuel injected. |

God, I hope you are not doing something retarded like making a chopper out of it. Those retards should be shot. |

a bike is a bike. they are machines. you may think that mine is a joke, i may feel the same about yours. just remember that the heart of the machine started out as a a sportster, and the harley guys think that we are all jokes. a chopper project makes some guys happy, while freeing up many unavailable or overpriced(if new) parts to forum members. if you check out new part prices and availability, you will be glad that the chopper guys sell us (for a fair price)the parts that we would have a hard time finding. build on boys, i like used parts!! |

It might suck trying to buy a used Buell in 20 years but for now yeah there are lots o cheap parts. I've been seeing these whimsical chopper builders start to lose their asses when trying to sell these things. That's not an X1W you're chopping up there is it? That would be truly barfworthy. |

Hey Ed it's only the posers that rag on Buells. Real bikers know what these things can do. |

If the above guys don't take the tank cover and fender . I would be interested in the whole set including the air boxes. It's your bike and I don't care what you do with it . That's why God made different wrenches for different nuts. |

Im building a chopper out of a buell too.. I would never buy a buell for a sportbike, anybody that thinks buells have anything on CBR's should be takin out and shot I think..but we all have our own opinion I guess my sponser giving me a new 600rr every year helps sway mine |

So, you expect to say something like that on a BUELL SITE. Chop on, YOU ARE NOT WORTHY! Stay in your lot where you belong. BTW, I have nothing wrong with choppers but if you really rode a Buell and didnt see what Eric has done.........maybe you should stick with choppers. That would be really cool. I've seen a few guys here stunt-em up but not alot. Being the oil and gas is in those frame rails and swingarm. I imagine a nice crack or break could be a big problem. I rode a few nice wheelies on my X1 but nothing too dramatic. I'm too old to heal quickly. Any time I get into it the ol' collarbone tends to remind me its been broke twice already. We can rebuild him............... |
