Got it all torn off...airbox, etc. Just want to put new plugs in it and can't get to front plug? Do I have to drop engine? Do not have maintenance manual. Help me. Outside, greased up, new plugs in hand, and bros are waiting for me to go for a ride! Thanks guys |

to get at the front plug you just take the left side air scoop off and use an open end wrench. rear requires an extension and a swivel. some sparkplug boot pliers are also very helpful when you try to put the wire back on the rear one. |

Having a pair of angled needle nose pliers can come in real handy when trying to get the spark plug wires on and off.

Dont cross thread that rear plug, make sure it starts clean before you use the swivel. Or you will be doing this |

use some rubber fuell hose or similar to start the rear plug back in - does do the trick use anti-sieze always hand thread the plugs to start so as to not cross-thread |

Believe it or not, with my long skinny fingers I was able to start threading the rear plug by reaching up between the frame and the rear jug. (The air scoop was off). This gave me the peace of mind that it was definately not cross threaded. It may work for you too. |
