Yeah, I would say buy the better back seat. My girlfriend hardly ever rides with me because it is to uncomfortable. I haven't bought the better passenger seat because even though the seat sucks the main problem that she is 5'10". She is just to tall for the bolt and her back ends up killing her after just a short ride. Other than the two of us not fitting on the bike very well she does like to ride. I pretty much decided that I would rather buy her a blast or a 500 Ninja than have her on the back anyway. |

I've given rides to girls on my 9R. It's a small seat, so they better have smaller tushes. However, that seems to be the condition on all sport bikes. It's no worse than any other sport bike, but it does vibrate a lot more than an I-4. I had a girl sit on mine at idle once. She said she loved the vibration and said it turned her on! She said sex would be great on a Buell! I never did test that theory. |

It's OK for short rides, but I'd rather have my own, which I do |

The regular lightning sucks moose for two up, unless you both have anemic looking little non-asses. My Gurl rolls her own! |

Penny has her own Sportster but still likes to be passenger now and again, sh'e good for about 30 minutes on the back of the XB9R. It's one of the reasons I am considering a Uly in the near future. |

Her ride on the bike of mine, prompted her to get her own. Cant complain too much, another bike in the garage that I get to "borrow" every now and then, and she has all the room on her own seat. Besides, she says I ride like a madman > |

My girl rides with me from time to time, she enjoys it but she would rather have her own, she never commented on the vibrations, too busy signaling me to slow down to concentrate on the vibes i guess. But yeah she is a tiny thing and is still kinda cramped on the bolt, good for 30 min or less before its time to give her a chance to walk around a minute. This is the only reason I miss the fatboy, she has literally fallen asleep on the back of it before, if that was possible on the bolt, witch its not , it would obviously spell disaster. But then who wants a sissy bar on a sport bike? |

my lady friend doesn't say a thing on the back, even when I almost draggin a knee around a corner. LOL She did say that the touring seat is much better than the custom pillion. |

My girlfriend doesn't mind a short ride on my Lightning Long, but then she's spoiled... we've done tens of thousands of miles together on my K1200LT (and before that, my Venture Royale). The Lightning Long is really MY toy, not hers. |

Well, I have taken 4 girls for rides on my motorcycle (all when I had the Sportster). 1 of them had her MC endorsement, so she was all game and loved it. 1 really wantred to do it, but still a little nervous - could hear her talling me to slow down, but in the end she loved it. 1 (an ex) was very nervous but wanted to have at least tried it. She didn't like it as much, but really enjoyed riding in my buddies sidecar. She was also 5'10 and did not have a very narrow rear end... The last, also and ex/current gf (don't ask) I had to force to get on. She was literally in tears in the driveway. By the time she got off, she decided she loved it. Dude - chicks dig bikes. Bottom line. |

I put the touring pillion and traction pegs to cut down on the vibs. The wife is still only good for about an hour on my xb12r. I tried to talk her into a Hyabusa so we could go two up, but, using her wifely logic, she said it was my bike, so my choice. So she suffers a little bit. She must love me. |

My friends jokingly refer to my bike as my "glass slipper". Meaning that when/if I find a gal that's small enough to ride all day comfortably on the back of my bike she will be "the one" and I should marry her immediately |

I don't want to be responsible for my girl's life on my bike, so I took the rear footpeg brackets off and bought a Corbin 1-up seat. It's one thing to take the risk with my own life, but I just can't do it with her. Just my 2-cents worth. |

My wife was pissed that I removed my pass pegs, but if she complains enough I guess I could put them back on. I'm kinda scared to take her for a ride on my 9s. |

My wife did many a mile on the back of the M2. Now I have an XBs. We have taken a few rides. Not as comfy as the M2. She at one time had her own bike. She now wants her own again. We are waiting to see what buell is coming out with. By the way we are like opposites she is 5'3" 130 and I'm 6'3" 250. |

My chicks answer was simple. Get off the back, pass her license and buy her own bike! Suits me fine and suits her perfectly. |

My wife Took the rider's class, got the license and bought a 250 Ninja. She put 65 miles on it by going around the block and decided it's not for her. She'd rather ride with me. Thats cool and all, but the roads I like to ride are all twisty and she hates them. I don't go where I really want to 'cuz she tells me I ride like an a**hole. "YOU GO TO FAST!" "YOU STOP TO FAST!" "YOU TURN TO FAST!" I told her if she doesn't like how I ride go ride your own. She's been selling her bike for months and turning down all offers. I think she'll be back up soon. |

Wife and each have our own Harleys......We bought the XB12S together as a toy. We are now constantly fighting for it. Another Buell may be in in our future....it's gotta be cheaper than therapy, hell more fun anyhow! Keep Your Knees to the Breeze! Kevin |

My wife likes riding on the Uly, she says its more comfortable than my old Road King and I had a tourpac and big pillow seat that I put on when she wanted to go for a ride. |

My wife prefers the back of the springer softail, but will tolerate a ride on the S1W. She had her own S1 for a while, but it was just too much bike (should have bought her a Blast). She is content with the springer. |
