Yep Steve. Love the bike. Just too damn tall for me. Then again, what isn't. I will be calling for help on the Uly. Thanks for the offer of help guys. Jason, let me know when you need to put the motor back in. I won't be in Arizona then! (FYI, Jason called me to see if I could come over and give him a hand pulling his motor, but I was in a Walgreen's in Arizona when he called me) So. Who's up for the Upper Michigan ride this summer? I'm in the pre-planning stages as I type this. Found a nice motel for a great price. Let me know if you're interested. No date set yet. We'll go when the most people can make it. |

Nice pics Tom!!!!!???? Who's up for pulling the Uly apart tonite!!?? KIDDING! Even with heat in the garage it's too damn cold outside! I'm hoping the weekend of the 16-17. I'm in the process of selling the Ducati. I have 5 people I'm dealing with right now. That's from posting only on a Duc website, so if they don't pan out, I'll try elsewhere. I have a few XB's I'm looking at now. But Karri won't let me get one till the Duc is gone. Probably a good idea or I may end up with two race bikes. Who's heading to the IMS next weekend? We're planning on it, but not too sure when. Jon has a Basketball Tourny starting Thursday until Sunday. His school team is undefeated (11-0)this year. I have a feeling we'll be at the Tourny all weekend. Hoping the weekend games are in the morning. I must get to the show. Need some stuff. So, does anyone here have any interest in a UP trip this Summer? Later |

If I end up with one Tom, great. If not, matters not to me. I think I'd be left out of the loop either way. |

I'm out of town for the next three weekends but after that I should be able to help pull the forks. Do you have a plan to support the rear after the shock's out? |

I know Tom. Time is running short. Jason, figured a swingarm stand. Not a good idea? Jack under the muffler as course. |

Rocco, I don't think a swingarm stand is going to do it. We need away to lift it to get the shock out and back in. I think jacking it from the muffler is the best bet. |

Rocco- place a floor jack under the muffler to lift the bike, a jack stand under each footpeg mount to stablize. Then 2 tiedowns to the ceiling from the handlebars to prevent tip-over.Use a rear swing arm(Pit Bull)stand to move the swingarm up and down to help remove the shock bolts. Un-bolt the subframe to swing it up or shift aside, remove the shock. Works for me, good luck. |

Tom, Andrea is going for he Masters. Then she'll be going into teaching nursing. She's pulling some grades that are frankly above 95%. I'm proud of her. |

Thanks Honey. I just finished up one class yesterday. And onto another today. Tom, Going for my MSN in nursing. I have the desire to teach our future nurses. As we all know there is a shortage out there as well as a shortage for instructors. I will most likely be starting a career change in a year or so and I plan on staying at the hospital part-time. I want to work with some University or GTC in one of the nursing programs. I already am involved with some education at the hospital and decided to take it to the next level. Not to Brag, and I will (LOL), my GPA is a 3.9 so far. I love being a student again and I am also studying for my Certification In Critical Care as well. And the kids like the example I am setting for them too... (Message edited by naughtynurse on February 06, 2007) |
