Does anyone plan on doing a track day this year? There are 7 of them at Loudon that run on Tuesdays (my day off). That would be awesome if some of us could get together and go. |

Woo-Hoo! i ordered $750 worth of OEM parts, like isolators, swingarm bearings, special bolts, throttle cables,TPS sensor, etc. and after 7 days' EVERYTHING is at the dealership! Assembly should commence Sunday and last a few weeks. The X1 should be ready for MB-IV.I want it...The other bikes' will get all fluids only, and maybe tires for the XB.I'm happy |

HEY!!!! Where is everyone??? Thanks for the cool cartoon Eric. Well i had a long day today.I got new swingarm outer bearing races pressed in,bearings greased and in place with new outer seals.Bolted the swingarm mount block to the engine block&torqued.New oil lines routed from the pump and dead ended awaiting an oil tank.Next up is mounting the swingarm to the support block, them the frame/wiring harness.I created, probably a lot of unnecessary work for myself but,i "think" i'll rest assured that it's WELL maintained.Unless i F%CK something up,i hope not,i've been very attentive.................................... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . And stone cold sober......... |

From this to this so far I got most of the wiring harness in place today, along with the shock bolted in place. The new front muffler hanger holds the volt regulator fine.New rockerbox/starter gaskets, oil lines, swingarm bearings/seals,TPS,and should be runnable in less than two weeks.I'll likely have money for new XB tires too.WINTER...what fun As i said,i'm going to Lincoln in the morning and would like to have a NEBO meeting.Erik? Eric? Try Mapquesting Summer st. in Manville RI..Let me know.. |

It was a pleasure....as always, and thanks Erik,i posted it on my wall in the workshop. I also discovered, while attaching the frontend today that,my keyswitch is fried.I kinda thought something was awry when late in the season riding with you guys' that, when i turned the key to on...Nothing,unless i tried it again or jiggled it.I'm not messing around,i'll replace now and avert a breakdown. But wonder about my trunk key...will i require two keys now??? Off to the "KV"

Hey any of yous guys interested in a GPS??? I got one that I'm selling and figured I'd offer it to NEBO first. It's a Magellin Meridian Platinum handheld waterproof GPS. takes 2 AA batteries and I have the car mounting as well. $100 takes it away. I'll wait till Wednesday to post it in the classifieds. |
