Have recently clocked 13000km (8000 miles) & have noticed an increased & deeper sound from my pipe. Not much at idle, but definately under load/acceleration. I like it! Am i imagining this? Has anyone else noticed this... phenomenon? Any thoughts/ideas? Matt. |

Nah! You've just blown out all the high pitch hearing range. The low range of hearing is the last to go! |

Matt, Matt, Matt........you are just becoming one with the machine! You are probably not hearing it as much as feeling it. And the airbox mod will do that too. Do you now notice that after you have ridden somewhere you feel like you haven't ridden yet? Even if you just went 300 miles? Do you hate to have to stop for gas or restroom breaks? Do you resent having to go back home or work? Have you realized no other bike that you have previously owned has made you feel this way? Do you hate to have the bike in a 'time out' for service or for a tire, to where it is not available to you 24-7? Nah, don't worry......my stock pipe sounds a little louder too! |

I'm thinking maybe permagrin opens the ear canals and helps to melt out the ear wax. |
