Hey U4...Ha! I also have a new set of Sport Attacks sitting in the basement. Can't wait to try them out when the time comes. I'll be working about 4 days a week for a few weeks. The pay stinks, but three day weekends are nice. I hope the weather improves so I can take advantage of it. If all goes well, I'll plan on seeing you and Rubberdown in two weeks. Later... |

Bergs - It started snowing and I was approached by three people in five minutes. Them: "Do you know its snowing?" By the second person Me: "Yes" Them: "Can we go home?" Me: "No" Them: "Why not we don't want to get stuck here." Me: "Because if you leave now I will have to pull you out of the ditch! Wait a couple of hours and it will be raining." Them: "But we can't drive in the rain either!" Me: "Sigh...." True story!! That's my life! |

U4 & Twig - I had a sport attack on the Uly. It stuck like glue for 2600 miles. I am trying the Conti-Force now, but I do not think they will live much longer. |

Hi Carlos...It's kinda funny that I put more miles on the xb than the s10 last year. I already have close to 5000 miles on the road attacks...made me a believer. The sport attacks might be a different story. Drummer boy swears by the Pirelli diablo III as far as slabing to the twisties go.I might try them next. |

Carlos, I remember that well, always good for a laugh or two. Here, they want to leave so they can make better money running plows. Webe, looks good man, I had to run out to the garage to make sure the tail was still on the Lightning. |

Hi, Guys, Sorry I have been off the map for a while. Kylie ended up having unscheduled surgery, and she ran us through the ringer on this one. She got croup one night before surgery, severe breathing difficulties after surgery, and then she got the stomach bug when she got home. On top of that I am heading for Florida today. The family has to stay for 6 weeks to wait for Kylies 6 week appointment. I would love to go riding with you guys before I leave but the bike is on the back of the truck with a uhaul behind that. I will be leaving this evening and will be offline untill I find a wi-fi hot spot or get the internet hooked up. I can't thank you all enough and you have all been great friends. You are all welcome at my home for daytona, although it is south of orlando(I do have a garage). Take care and I will update you guys in a few days. Larry |

Safe travels Larry. I hope Kylie is doing better. I hope the move to FL really helps the children with their medical issues. Keep us posted and take care. |

Black_sunshine, PM'ed regarding some parts. Let me know what you got available still. I have an 06 xb12s, so may not be much that is compatible, but we'll see. BTW, what the heck is the 3%er thing all about? I see that referenced everywhere, but couldn't find an explanation. |

It's a club. At the time of it's origin... 3% stood for the number of Buells produced, if I remember right vs. everyone else. |

Jim - I am glad now you know where you were! LOL Next time I will have to take you another route. Letta - Go Colts, I did not watch the game but glad Dave called to let us know! 1313 - Hey stranger. Is the S2 running? Kristi and I rode to the fish camp and old Maple Hill road today and stopped by New River HD to pick up Skull Cap err Toboggan and ran into Nuts and SubChris65. We were talking about doing some riding in the Jacksonville area and Kristi and I thought about you and wondered how the S2 was coming along? Kristi and I had a KFW - Kid Free Weekend and Kristi did good today in sub-50°F temps and 20-30mph winds. We rode about 180 miles today and I was able to go up and back on Old Maple Hill Rd and not get helmet slapped. I was happy. Lunch at the Fish Camp was as good as always and we rode from the Fish Camp straight to Hookerton to pick up the kids. I got back to the house and the bike is now over 18,000 miles. Hey Jim - Have you caught me on mileage yet? You all have a great week. |

Carlos - I've got 16,000 miles I think. The bike is still w/o muffler so I haven't ridden in for the last few weeks. I have put a few miles on the Blast. It's been cold though, and I haven't feel like freezing. |

Well the Axle came in over the weekend....so the front of the bike is torn down once again, just need some axle spacers(one si 1/16th off) some buell brake pads and all the rebuild parts... then got to make a fender work, I may be back to using a harley fender, not sure... the buell one is Huge! and does not fit the 21 inch wheel at all. On the Blast side Laura is looking for a XB head and some XB cams, some mild port work onthe head and alittle compression shoudl make it nice. |

Jim - I thought for sure you would have been right there at me after your trip to VA and the Advrider ride with Mike. SMark - Sounds cool. I have all the parts to get the M2 back road worthy except the catch cans. Webe says he can make something for me so I may go that route. Now just time to actually work on the bike. By the way I saw the new Nightster at Shelton's HD in Smithfield. Man, that is a Sportster I could ride. The seat gets very personal with you, but other than that quick change, that bike is beautiful. |
