I am looking at installing the frame pucks over my carbon fiber frame covers. More or less for cosmetic protection. Has anyone ever done this before? I would greatly appreciate any tips, comments, and opinions. tia. |

How are the frame covers attached? The adhesive for the pucks is pretty stout. Unless the carbon covers are attached with an adhesive that overrides the attachment of the pucks, you could have the unfortunate experience of losing both in a laydown. If you are doing it for cosmetic reasons, I would suggest you use a much weaker adhesive so that the pucks "snap off" and allow the frame covers to take the brunt of the impact. If you would like a more substantial mounting, I think you will have to over attach the covers so that they remain attached. I think it would look cool, though. |

Glitch has done it, worked great. Even after a crash. |
