Dana, Scotty said something about it on the Drag Race thread. That would be great if you guys could get it put together. This would also give people a chance to try it out, since they have the fun runs/test & tune also. And maybe a Chick class. We've got to get Hellion, CJ, Toni, Naughty Nurse, Cosmo and Hugger out there. And of course the infamous Hurricane Leah. Come on girls we all have XB's now! Rocco you'll have to get your bad self out there too. Pammy, I hope you'll be coming. . . . Look what you started! lol |

I see they don't show spectator camping available for that weekend. That's stupid. They do list Hotels, Motels and a few camp grounds. Maybe the powers that be that set this up over at Buell need to check into this and see if they can get it changed? |

Thanks for the camping info. Do you know the name of the campground across from the main gate? |

If Buell does NOT name a host hotel/resort can someone from the area please suggest one to the rest of us non campers that would make a good base for the four days. I would suggest giving Buell until March 1 unless someone knows that they have no plan on doing this, then it makes no difference when the plan is put in motion. Thanks much. |

I think the campground across the road is Plymouth Campground. You'll have to search for their number and contact them. I have stayed in the r/v there, they have tent camping. And its secure, gated entrance. |

Lastcyclone: good suggestion!! I'm hoping to learn that there will be some "group rate" deals set up at a couple of motels/hotels... I've been scouring over maps of the area trying to figure out where the best "home base" would be. The Road America facility looks to be an hour+ (ish?) from East Troy - is there a particular non camping location that most folks use as home base for the duration? |

Sure there was Bomber. Lake put a block on room's in Appleton. Though this year we will be able to get room's closer to the track on the account of the AMA races are at a earlier date. If people would follow my link I posted above that will show you everything in the area. Let's see what Buell comes up with first. If they don't finding a place and and Blocking room's will be easy. |

BlackBelt it would be really great to see you again. I thought of seeing if I could get a group rate at the Marriot on HWY 20 coming into town. Its just down the street from the bar and Racine HD Buell right across the street if anyone needs any parts. I could get a party going at the bar without doubt. Maybe Erik and band could play for us there. Steve Mackay may even get something going on at Hal's also. The factory is straight up HWY 20 about 35 minutes. I'm a hour and 15 minutes from Road America. Lake Bueller, Spidey, Steve Mackay....Help!!! If any of you want to give it a go PM me or call my cell 1-262-939-9922. We can do this and have a great time. |

Don't count me in for this year's festivities. I'd already have plans for that weekend (but not by my design). We're expecting 50,000 bible thumbers for an all-day prayer session at Lambeau Field. The excitement is just oozing from all my pores |

I can offer up a garage to work in(with a nicely stocked fridge and A/C) if anyone needs to do last minute work, or cleaning after riding into town .... or as a last stop /gathering point before riding out .. I'm only 3 minutes off I-94 ... and I'm about 20 minutes from the factory |

Forget any lodging in Plymouth!! There must be a big wedding or something going on, everything is booked!! Of course it is 4th of July week so if someone wants to get a block of rooms, I wouldn't wait too long. My wife and I reserved a room there, I'm paying too much but I wanted to be close to the track and neither one of us are campers. |

Hey Everybody, What's goin' on? I have a question for you-with the announcement of the dates for Homecoming, I was wondering how many people are going to be interested in attending a breakfast sponsored by Hal's? As most of you know Hal's has held a breakfast before Homecoming each year but with the event this year over the 4th of July weekend we weren't sure if anyone would be interested in attending. Let me know what you think so I can begin the planning. Thanks, BudC |

Hey Dana, I've been talking to Steve also about doing a joint event. I've got some ideas for the weekend that I'll bounce off of Steve when I talk to him. Otherwise, we are going to the IMS in Chicago next week and I'm sure it will come up then. BudC |

In case you missed my post on 12/14/06, Hal's H-D/Buell is now offering Buells in the Rentals Fleet. We have a 2007 XB12X Ulysses and a 2007 XB9SX CityX. Both bikes have bags and the Ulysses has the rear trunk and a touring shield. I also offer seat options for both bikes and I will set the suspension for you as well. So, if you are planning on coming to Milwaukee for the Homecoming and need a bike let me know early-these babies are hot. For further details please visit the Rentals page at http://www.halshd.com. Thanks. BudC |
