Angelo nice looking motorcycle. do you have any info on the body work. did you make it yourself?did you have to make a custom sub frame for the tail?what kind of front end did you put on it? brian | ||

Hello brian,we made the all bodywork(front fairing,tail,batterybox,front fender andleft air duct),we modified an original xbr subframe but we are develloping a custom made subframe.we also made billet forktrees that allowsto mount gsxr1000 k2,3,5 complete front end(forks,wheel,brakes) the parts will be available on our catalog the next month.see www.kompo-tech.com Thank you Angelo kt | ||

Angelo thank you for the quick response. that is some interesting stuff. do you have any close up pics of the front fairing? how is it mounted. will all the electronics from the firebolt fit in there?or is it for a lightning front end? brian | ||

Brian the bike i used was an xb12s no electrical mods,i dont have close up pictures of the front now but i ll post them tomorrow. Angelo | ||

Nice front fairing! I'd be interested in one of those! Did you fashion the black windshield part also, or is that an aftermarket piece? And what's up with the oil cooler? Okay, that's stretching it. New XB? No way. I'm just not a big fan of this. No offense. I know there must be countless man hours in this and I can respect another man's passion to engineer. I can. But, it just doesn't do much for me. I don't like the front fairing. Plus the scoop and oil cooler. Proportions are off from front to rear, to me. Like I said. No offense. | ||

Nutsnbolt, Buell can't keep the current design forever. It doesn't work in the sport bike industry like it does for crusiers. When buell revamps the bolt I home it's a step forward. |
