Bosh, I SUPER HAMMERED the throttle yesterday. I usually get 45-49MPG (regular hammer!). Yesterday, I got 43MPG. |

Did you update your ECU? Or just the cover? |

I already have the Race ECM, so I just updated the box. |

To revive this... My dealer just got back to me on whether or not they could reflash. They can, after talking to the Buell Tech line. but.......... they want $149.95 for the reflash. They are characterizing it as a "tuning." WOW-WEE.... That's a huge chunk of change for $maybe 10 minutes of work. I think I'll be contacting DaveS when I park the bike. |

Holy shit! What do they think, it is like a HD reflash? The flash is FREE! It's only a little bit of time to do it. |

Gtmg, My mileage seems to have gone back to the original MPG. The power is still strong. It's a little hard to tell in that when it's cold, it seems to run fine but the rubber isolators transmit more vibrations. I can't wait to run it in the spring and summer. I definitely wouldn't go back. |

Mine is working great! Now, it has not been hot yet, but I don't have any pinging yet. Fingers crossed. |

I've had the '07 box on for a couple of months now, including '07 ECM flash. Other than making more noise, I can't say my butt dyno can detect any meaningful improvement. Either in drive-ability or outright performance. Maybe someone will do a 'before' and 'after' dyno pull to settle the discussion. |

Mine has less hesitation. No reflash. Runs very well, before and after Spec Ops pipe. Too cold/icy to ride Odysseus though. Odie is too nice to risk. Riding the Nuclear Thunderpig instead from time to time (XR650R plated and farkled). (Message edited by Red_Chili on January 30, 2007) |

Dillon Brother's HD/Buell reflashed mine for 40 dollars. |

I have re-flashed one it ran fine. The reason for the re-flash would be to incorporate the changes in the fuel tables for the new air box and also a few minor changes in the timing tables to reduce pinging. We charged .5 hour, with the download being free to us from H-D. That is what it took from the time I started until I was finished and had verified that the bike was OK. Remember that you must use a 07 VIN to get the 07 calibration and when you put the bike back on the Digital Tech using the original non 07 VIN it shows a different calibration, but did not reject anything...
