Hello , 1994? Thunderbolt S2 To avoid a head on I laid her down in the grass and everything was going fine until we met the cement drainage control box. She sailed and landed on the seat section and bent the crap out of the bars and frame. Found all the glass but am still looking for a Frame. Anybody have a old frame in the corner they would like to get out of the way? Oh and by the way how much different is the S3 frame from the S2? email me at meadiee@netscape.net (Message edited by capecoralm on January 24, 2007) |

I have a '95 S2 frame hanging in my garage. I have a potential sale pending on it right now but it isn't a sure thing. I have the clean title for it, not a salvage. It was a chopper build victim (not me). It is in perfect condition but is a bare white frame. I have only a few little pieces like the side plate bolts, front isolator, tank clamp, etc. I am in Maryland. Don't know what it would be to ship such a lump of steel. What kind of offer would you make? |

Why not just buy one from Buell with your current VIN number stamped into it? They're still available 'ya know $2500 isn't too much is it? I almost did it,but "GMD Computrack" measured my frame and said,"We can fix it",which they did,for $700. |

$2500 for a frame is a lot... Just buy a used S2 for a few bucks more.. |

Used is fine IF there're guarantees that it's straight. How do you know you're not just buying someone else's bent/wrecked frame? Used IS fine if'n you know just what you're getting.Just pointing out the replacement program Buell has for wrecked frames |
