The frame is $1100, the swingarm is $887. So, the BadWeb prices are $990 and $798 respectively. I do imagine you will need an XBRR PIN number to order a frame though. If you want to purchase one, I will inquire on that tidbit for you. AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!! |

Why would you want to buy an XBRR frame? It is just a stock frame with panels to allow for more gas capacity...for a 200 mile race. Unless you are entering the Daytona 200, or a MotoST race, and then it would be important. Now an XBRR motor...that is a different matter. jimidan |

Because that's cheaper (I think) than a street frame, or at least comparable. Besides, I could use the added capacity, and I like the look of the RR frame. Sherm |

Sherm, Make sure you check with your DMV about having a VIN assigned. You don't want to be pulled over on some ticket and deal with an impounded machine when they check for matching engine/chassis VIN's. When the numbers don't match, they always call them in and if either the engine or chassis VIN's are not registered - the bike goes into impound At least that happens here in CA and most states I've heard about. |

Slaughter, Dude, the question is: can you order an XBRR frame with your XBR vin. Just like if you needed a new frame for your XBR, Buell would send you a replacement frame with your vin, and you'd send them your damaged one in return. Sherm |

Sherm - that's a good question (sorry about the mis-interpretation on my part) Dunno if there's enough difference in the RR frame to justify sawing off your old steering head and sending it in (you don't have to send in the whole old chassis). Don't know how the RR compares to the Ulysses chassis geometry either. It'd be worth asking one of the other dealers sponsoring here - see if Buell would VIN stamp an RR frame (though I'd bet the answer is "no") Also don't know what other features of the DOT-Legal chassis are not included on the RR. Worth asking though. |

I was under the impression frames are never issued with the same number twice.. Some one should be able to chime in here... god knows how many people here have had frame damage.. |

"Unless you are entering the Daytona 200, or a MotoST race," For MotoST, you are limited to 4 gallon fuel capacity. You also can not replace the frame. |

For the street legal frames, you saw off the steering head with VIN number - and when it's received at the factory, they stamp a new one and ship it back. (something like that) At least that's how wrecked VIN frames get replaced. Believe it or not, there were a couple frames on ebay trying to be sold with no steering head! |

My bike currently being worked on was held for week by a bike having the frame replaced... Service manager told me buell had no frames and they had to have the replacement sent vendor direct.. I saw Nothing cut off the old frame? On a side note its amazing how lite the frame is when you pick one up.. |

>>>>For the street legal frames, you saw off the steering head with VIN number - and when it's received at the factory, they stamp a new one and ship it back. (something like that) Actually that's the way it was, it's been changed slightly to address some logistical problems associated with having to send one frame in and wait a month for the next . . . it's easer to do the work all at one time. Drill now is that you fill out a bunch of paperwork, the new frame is shipped to the dealer. They have 30 days (this may have changed) or something to send in the cut out head section of the entire cost of the frame gets charged to their dealer account. Or some similar sort of . . . .well, you get it. |

Hey Josh! Any luck answering this yet? Can you get an RR frame with an R Vin? Sherm |

I know the answer to this is no, because it will not be the same frame that VIN originally had. I did however send an email about if you can get an XBRR frame with a new PIN and MSO. If you just want the big frame for a street bike, get one from a parted out long bike with a title. The RR frame would only be good for race bikes (registration reasons). |

We have swapped a couple of XB frames. The new frame with the matching VIN comes in the this nice box. Take it out make sure you have everything off the old one, put it in the box and send it back. No need to saw anything as this is not a H-D or Buell tube frame where it is easy to saw of the head. If you need a (Race Use Only) frame contact Henry Duga and he will give you the details on how to get one. ... Terry |

If you guys want an XBRR frame, then you will have to send your old one back when you get it. Like Terry said. But, you can get frames. |
