With some regrets, I am posting my XB9S for sale. The bike was purchased as a factory demo in March 2005. So it had not been titled but had about 3,500 miles on it at that point. It now has about 11,500 miles. It was my daily transportation for May-October each year. The only problem I've had was a leaking oil line that was fixed. The bike has been maintained but not babied. Oil changes have come at specified intervals. The stock Dunlops were replaced by Pirelli Scorpion Syncs at about 5,000 miles due to picking up a tack in the back tire. The bike now needs a rear tire; the front would be good for another 3000 miles. The TPS reset was done recently with VDST software, even though it didn't really need it. The fork oil has not been changed as called for in the 10k service. I was going to wait until the front tire needed changed and do them both at the same time. I've added Cateye bar end mirrors; the cheese grater has been chopped and a rear turn-signal/license plate mount added. The belt guard has been shortened about 2"; Traction Grips added and a Bar Snake in the handlebars. Buell frame pucks are installed. A XB12 airbox lid was swapped in for the stock one. The airbox lid is not cut, and the ECM and muffler are stock. The muffler needs painted and has a couple of dents on the bottom. The bike has been ridden rain or shine, but always stored inside. Never wrecked as long as I've had it; it did tip over in the parking lot once (forgot the forks were locked and tried to push it into the garage) but no damage was done. I'm asking $4500 as is. Includes any stock parts and an Eclipse tank bag. Also available separately will be the VDSTs software and a Buell Streetfighter seat. Motorcycle buyer will have first shot at the accessories. I'll post pictures after this weekend. Bike in in central WV. I've been a BadWeB member for more than two years. If any long-time members that I recognize are interested, I'll go out of my way to help the transaction. Otherwise, you'll have to come to see it and arrange transportation. Email me at bmullens at gmail.com with questions. Edit: The bike is black. Thanks, Bill (Message edited by Xring on January 19, 2007) |

Correction: The mileage is 12,700. I was going by memory in my original post, guess I rode more than I thought this year! Bill |
