FIRST... Do you hear the whine of the fuel pump when you turn on the ignition? Are you waiting till the "Jugs"(check engine light), goes out?(shoud be 4 seconds).. IF you hear the fuel pump and it sounds strong.. Once started does it stall? have any other issues? Other wise, I would be looking for a loose wire, start at the ECM, and work forward.. Chase |

If you have to shake it there may be a loose connection at the starter or fuel pump. Check all your wire connections before you go ballistic... |

Similar problem. Get the "C" version of the relays (both of them) under the seat at the fuse box. Pop in and out and you should be happy. Check the ignition leads also. These run very hot and one set of mine burnt through. Separated them and coated them with liquid insulator, no further problems. (Message edited by sflabuell on January 21, 2007) |

I had a similar problem with my '02 S3T...sometimes it would start, others it wouldn't...I thought maybe the battery...til I found the wire that connects to the starter was loose...sometimes making a connection...sometimes NOT. |
