not too hard, just takes time and maybe a second hand...each person is different, but I set it up about 3/4" into it-sit on the bike it'll it squat down, by adjusting preload compression damping and rebound damping are pure preference and usually are dictate by how and where you ride...but you can find the middle and then fiddle with the screws from there just by riding and finding what is best for you, but be careful cause small adjustments can have drastic changes, I'm sure someone that messes with them more could get it really dialed in for your wieght and riding style but that is how I've done it...Remember to take notes so you don't repeat your set-ups, at least the ones you don't like... |

the reason i said disaster is because we left with 24 bikes and when we got to the festival(which sucked btw)about 8 people didnt want to go in so they left.then when we went in they decided to stay for 2 freakin hours(which was way to long)and then we all got split up so we left 4 riders there(didnt show up at the meeting point to let us know they were staying)so we sat around there for an extra 15mins waiting for them.then we left and started toward zanesville and a guys bike broke down.so we got it fixed.then another 2 miles down the road it broke again.and since i cant leave anyone behind i waited with him(even though he told me not to worry about it)baking my frakin nutz off.so then i said fock riding and went home. |

no not yet i'd take you up on that offer if i knew what i was doing. but i don't so i won't. im probably going to have to have somebody else do it. i called this one shop to see if they did it if i could watch. so next time i would know what i was doing. well their not going to let that happen. i mean i kinda understand why they wouldnt let me watch more $$$for next time it happens. but at the same time id still be paying full price. but i got all winter to get them done. |

Sometimes dirt, bugs, etc. gets into the seal area and causes small leaks. I've heard of people using tearoffs from thier helmet visors to dig the stuff out. May be worth a try, I heard it a couple of times working, on here and with a few friends. Good luck... |

Just drove through Columbus yesterday.... Did I see a new HD/Buell dealer going up north of Columbus off I-71? I think it was near the Sunbury exit. |

I suspected so. That's gonna be great for you Columbus riders. And if they do their part supporting the Buell line it'll be worth the 1.5 hour ride from Cleveland to do business with them. The dealers up here just haven't been up to par. I am trying to get Lake Erie HD/B to get their focus on the Buells more. Good folks, bought my bike there, but their knowledge and expertise just isn't. |

I was in Farrow's warehouse off of broad last weekend. It's incredible how many bikes they have. There was around 500 bikes, all were harleys except a row of 20 or so Blasts for their school, and maybe 5-10 other Buells spread around. Hopefully they stock up the new store with a nice selection of Buells to go along with the many Harleys. |

Is anyone around Columbus riding to March Badness? Is there normally a ride down, or do most trailer? Or does anyone go down from Ohio at all? |

Truck/trailering down. It's a 10 hour drive from here (longer on a bike). Call me a wimp, but I want to be able to ride at 100% when I get there. I'd be whooped if I rode to get there (and home). Leaving PA Thursday a.m., hooking up w/ Rasmonis around Fredericksburg, MD then down I-81 to the Dragon late Thurs. Ride Dragon early Fri, then to MB4 Friday afternoon. Leave sometime on Sunday to come home. |
