Ive read that the rear isolator needs to be moved from the swingarm so you can change the belt and I was wondering if anyone had modified their frame to so you could simply unbolt a piece of the frame instead of fiddling with the sway bar. |

Not that I've ever heard of Johnny. There is a special tool available someone mentioned on the BadWeB, though I'm not entirely sure if it spreads the frame ever so slightly or something else. I've heard of the frames spread apart with a jack of some description, just enough to slip the belt past the isolator / frame tube. Rocket |

Doesnt the X1 models have this frame area that you can remove for easier belt changes? |

Never ever spread your frame with a "jack". There are a couple of tools that can be used to compress the isolators in order to remove them. One is easily made form hardware store nut's, bolts and washers, and the technique has been listed here on Badweb. Do a search. jimidan |

I looked at Maz's mods but was hoping for something that didnt require me to tear the bike down to the bare frame. Bomber, I scoured the link but couldnt find the writeup. I read alot of other useful info and bookmarked it though thanks. |

Has anybody used the belt that is put together with pins? If so do they last as in a long term replacement. Joe |
