Took a few pics of the 'fighter' at lunch. I'm just busting into my mod list but some goodies are on, here's a sneak peak. pics kinda suck, too freekin' windy/cold out. CRGs, Oberon reservoir cover, Oberon mini-LED fronts, British Avon S10 gas mask , Sato axle sliders FreeSpirits pulley cover (yes, i'll be cleaning up that rust and protecting it) + mod. belt tensioner, Oberon pegs, Sato rear slider, rear pulley edge polished Left side view, love the black flyscreen mount, all blacked out up front now Rights side view, not sure i'm diggin' the rear hugger Rear view of Oberon LEDs and custom dash in distance, LP bracket will be re-painted black Custom dash these pics are taken mid-werk. still have more smack on the way. Fatbars, bar-end mirrors, etc. |

that's a sweet lookin' ride! and, as you know, that dash looks killer! i'm glad to see that my pulley wasn't the only one tainted by rust either...i kinda freaked out when i removed the cover and saw all that rust - but it cleans up fairly easily. what will you use to protect it with in the future? can't wait to get my new dash from you! |

thnx, doods. i love messing with this bike. such a gorgeous base to work with. i'll post more pics/reviews as i mod. its gonna hurt to wait for spring (not like it doesnt every year) re: dash, thanks! i dig it too. i'll keep the other thread up to date. no new specs today yet. re: pulley, yeah, thing gets my belt all full of rust too. my plan is to just clean it all up with the usual stuff, some kind of metal cleaner/polish. i have some mothers. i just want all the rust off then paint either matte clear or a combo of black with portions clear for contrast. nothing crazy. just a coating to help some of the rust. unfortunately the front isnt the only part that gets crappy. i'm looking into some of that spray belt protection stuff as well. |

Did you need the resisters for those lights? I am looking at installing the same indicators on my CityX. -Shawn |

not sure yet, shawn. i havent fully wired them but i'm assuming i'll pick up a Grotes flasher to fix fast-blink if it happens. i looked at the resistor thingies, they were HUGE. when i installed the LED tail i didnt have issues. |

Signal Dynamics makes a compact trick flash that will work with LEDs and gives you 4 different flash modes that you can adjust on the fly. |

Is that the trojan horse tail? I am waiting for mine to arrive. Let me know if there are any "gotchas". I can't wait for my stuff to arrive. I also ordered the Rizoma rear set, grips, bare-end/caps, and reverse bar-end mirrors. I will post pics on the transformation. |

re: tail... nope. its a Hillbilly-Motors dupe in carbon/kevlar of an older HSA fiberglass unit. not sure which Trojan is selling, i know HSA has a newer 'shark' style with curved light unit. only 'gotcha' for that tail, i had to trim + paint it and the LP light busted somehow last year. |

thnx! re: LP bracket, nope. purchased separately, but it is a Hillbilly-Motors unit as well. i'll be trimming the tabs for the marker lights to bring them up closer to the tail. should look a little tighter. |

You got my vote on one of the best black 12s that I have seen. All the parts work well and the bike as a whole looks tight and clean. I have one question, I dont know much about the pirelli's but is your front tire mounted the wrong way? |

That's the way the Pirelli's mount up. Does look a little backwards, though. |

thnx, Cmm. i love blacked out vehicles, 2 or 4 wheel, but i want to keep shades of black/gray/silver with a touch of blue here and there. so far its working hmm, i'll have to look at the arrow on the tire but i believe they are mounted correctly. the tread pattern points 'up' front and rear. looks the same on the CityX gallery page too. |

As far as the "gas mask" is concerned - is that the "canister" or did you relocate the horn (which is what I am suggesting if you didn't already)? |

Kyle, nope, didn't relocate but thats a great idea! i'm not sure how permanent the mask will be. i dig the look but its total fluff. thats not the cannister, it mounts to the side but is obviously removed. i had to cut/trim/pull but the sucker fits pretty damn well. |

Typeone, how do you like that belt tensioner? I'm kickin around the idea of putting one on my bike. I really like the looks and reasoning behind it, but don't know if it's worth the money. |
