Some new photos of the bike. It was nearly 70 degrees out here in Richmond, VA today.....unbelievable.

Here I am taking a break at a little place called Stubblefield. I have been coming here since I was two weeks old my dad tells me, so I like to swing by occasionally.
Here's a couple of shots with my new camera

Here's a couple I touched up a little. I thought the combination of using clean lines from the photo enhanced with some color and cartoonish overtones turned out kindof cool. Enjoy...

I think the first one is awesome! The 2nd one sucks and shouldn't have been posted. I had to shave so much off the resolution just to post it, it didn't do it justice. As for the third, it looks like I superimposed a snapshot of me standing by my bike into an impressionist painting of a burning forest.

Hi there Phil try using Free image hosting, that way you can display your pictures in all there glory. Click on the picture to link to Free Image hosting site. I use this all the time. I resize only so it displays better on the Bad Web. I resize to 800x600 using the windows picture resizer without losing to much picture quality. Once you upload your picture scroll to the bottom and right click and copy the middle link, then paste in your post. here's an example cheers Jodie (Message edited by joesbuell on January 02, 2007) |

Okay, you took apart a new bike??!? AND NO, I DIDN'T WRECK IT, I bought it that way! Why not save a wrecked one??? And drag race it? I do like the blacked out look though! I am doing another one, an '03 XB9S that I have added Cherry Bomb red wheels and body work to, along with the XB9SX hand guards, bars and black-out treatment, now I am thinking about those XB-TTS number plates too...? Here is the progression on the 2003 XB9S: Take one wrecked Buell Notice the bent front wheel, those are "Star Dust Silver", and hard to find. Newer ones are white in the center. Plus a generous helping of new parts Equals= I was going to make it a City Cross... Until I saw the Cherry Bomb Red stuff on a 2007 model... I have new Cherry Bomb Red Wheels, waiting on a Dunlop 616 rear tire and some front forks. |

OK! well it wasn't that extensive, and it sure wasn't recked, but it did have 1500 mils on it??? not quite new. I do give you props though from some one that has ripped one apart thats alot of work! altough it gets a lot eseyer after you've done it a couple of times.... Yes the forks are powdercoated. so are the tripple trees and the wind screen frame, gas cap, prity much every thing that wasn't black is or matches the fraim(a little bit darker than the frame) and same here once I saw the 07 cherry bomb i fell in love!!! I'll take some more pics and post them at a latter date, so you can get a better idea of how much is dun to it litteraly the only thing not powdercoated it the engine! |

Nice work Everyone. I like the Black Cherry CG And it's good to see wrecked buells being restored rather than being donors for choppers. |
