I think I am going to look at getting a GPS unit for this trip. Riding all those back roads will be a ton of fun! Thanks again to all the peeps for putting all this work into what looks to be a great event! 83 DAYS!!!

"How does leaving the T.W.O. no later than 10a, riding up the backway, across the Skyway (very righteous road), over to the Dragon and back sound??" Sounds good to me. I'll plan on it. |

I just heard that a some of the Twisty Sisters are coming up as well as some of W.O.W.. Not sure of the numbers, but, if only the ones that showed last year come, it'll be a big group of riders. |

just how fast can you go with those little 8" trailer wheels anyway? Put it this way; If you are traveling at 55mph, and you have 16" wheels on your car, your 8" trailer wheels are running twice the RPM... that get's pretty harsh for the bearings. I started out with the 8" wheels. After the first trip from Huntsville to Road Atlanta, I went to Wal Mart an got myself some 14" wheels. It think they were around $45/wheel. They worked MUCH better. The bearings were smoking with the 8" wheels. Had to replace and repack. No such nonsense with the 14's. It also seems to track a bit more stable now too.} (Message edited by ratyson on January 04, 2007) |

Sounds like a plan to me. I'm thinking we at least need to leave by 8:45. That gives us plenty of time to get to the campground and hook up with everyone and get some coffee. I'm pretty flexible at this point. If you want to get there earlier, that's fine too. I'm sure by Friday morning, there will be lots of people to meet and chat with before we set out. |

Hey,Hudson Valley boys,is there any more room at the inn? Do you know if another cabin may be available? I'm trying to get my Ducs in a row. My nephew in D.C. wants me to pick him up.I'll supply him with my X1 and ride my XB.But most likely truck both down...Thoughts? |

I think Mikexlr650 was taking care of them arangements for us, but I could be wrong. Not really sure Maybe I just "ASS-U-ME" to much... So I would like to know also. JUST A HEADS UP FOR THE NEBO CREW,,,,,, I checked mapquest for some directions and it is like 18hrs from my house.(over 1000 miles) I am sure I won't follow the speed limit much (never do) and should be able to shave some time off that figure even with a full load of bikes. I do not think I will be heading to New York the night before, No real reason to do that since we would leave first thing in the morning. Kinda out of the way. I WILL be leaving on wednesday after work and will drive through most the nite. (I like driving w/ no one on the roads) YOUZ are more than welcome to sleep. This seems to make more sense to me, and I get to ride on thursday and scope some roads out. What do you all think of this? mess anyone up at all? OH and where is that livnlo dude been? no word on him and his "crew"....I bet they also would be interested in this little trip. |

Add Ken (Mr. DucTape) and a BMW friend to the "counting the minutes" list. As for the Dragon on Fri, Hopefully those leaving from TWO can hook up with those that are already at the Dragon. If need be, we can shoot the shortest route to the dragon and come across the Skyway so everyone can ride the righteous roads!!! What does everyone think?? |

I can be on the road right after work. Will have bike and all gear loaded and waiting in the PD lot. 8 AM comes and you see azzhole and elbows sprinting across parking lot then thick clouds of smoke as I tear the hell out of there. |
