My bike talked to me in Branson MO last weekend. It said "thanks for not riding me in months now go diagnose your charging system you ASS" |

Ahh, the joys of diagnosing a charging system. Is it the stator? Did I kill the battery? Is my speedo sensor shorted? Tune in next time for the exciting conclusion! |

I thought it was the e-bay battery I bought so I went to Harley and got a OEM one. Seemed to charge at about 13.5V at 2000 RPM but after riding a day my engine light came on with a trouble code 16 Me and X1 are not talking right now. I think she mumbles something at me when I walk by her in the garage but it could be an owl, who knows!! |

Hey guys, I'm up here at SHSU in Huntsville going to grad school. I've never met another Bueller in my life, so you guys let me know the next time you get together. I'd love to meet you. Take it easy. |

If I make it will they come? Set a date at least two weeks out, I'll have it ready. What do you like? I make a mean brown ale. |

My favorite beer is "cold", but I'll drink "warm" if that's all there is. That oatmeal stout you made last time was outstanding! I'll start working the calendar. Rain won't be a problem because I want it to rain, thereby guaranteeing that it won't. That's Road_Thing's Law of Inverse Desirability: "The more desirable an event, the less likely is it to occur." My pond is still empty. rt |

Still? It rained cats and dog a few months ago. |

In Houston and the Woodlands, maybe, but we've only had one rain worth talking about at the ranchito since September of '05. rt |

All right, I'm ready for a trip to the ranchito! Maybe I should get some better gloves this time so I show up with all my fingers. Last time I had 3 fingers that looked like I had painted them white. I did recently change my grips to the Buell traction grips. They rock... Post or send emails with specifics. BTW, Seems I remember hearing someone say that oatmeal is good for your health.

The beer is done. I had a little taste when I checked the gravity prior to kegging. I think you'll like it. |

Please provide samples post haste... Were getting parched up in the cold cold North! Perhaps a beverage will make the numbness in my fingertips go away. |

Duh! You just rinse it. Some people... Hoot, Schedule is very tight, but if dates get posted perhaps I can make it? Would there be an extra bike about "one" could borrow? If not I could always drive the sag wagon. I am scheduled to be in New Orleans in mid Feb of it gets pushed that far out. Course Sabrina gets first dibs on te schedule while I'm there. |

OK, I get the hints...I'll peruse the calendar tomorrow and suggest a few possible dates. I'm thinking last year's format worked pretty well--feeding frenzy Saturday, but come when you can and leave when you're able. There's a couple of spare beds at the Ranchito, and plenty of camping space. No swimming just yet, though... rt |

I can ride here. Sort of. What I can't do is ski. The last time I went was when we went to Tahoe. Pretty sad huh? |
