Merry X-mas & Happy New Year to you, too! I'd sell you mine, but I want about $8,500 for them! (note - they come with a FREE turbocharged 'S2T'-ized 1991 RS1200) (see profile pic) Sorry - couldn't resist! If no one on the badweb has any, keep your eye on ebay as they do show up there on occasion. I think that the S3 bags can be adapted to your S2, and they are better bags. My S2 bags are completely watertight, unless you ride in rain, or go thru a puddle, or you leave it outside and there's a heavy dew overnight. Also the 2 keyed locks needed to open and close them are a PITA. Plus the narrow bag lids limit your carrying capacity to not much more than pair of gloves and a couple of pairs of clean drawers (needed when spooling up into the Holy $hit range of that aforementioned turbo!) Get the wide lids if you plan to carry much stuff. Wow - I'm not really being of any help here - I'll just shut up now. AL |

Unless you are looking for the bags as a part of the S-2 history, etc I would advise you to go with some other option. For all the reasons Al has listed and more. They were expensive, a pain to operate, prone to breaking, and fairly uncommon. I went with RKA soft bags and loved em. I kept a set of the stock bags for awhile as part of my S-2 memorabilia but finally sold em off. |

Check Ebay for some Chopper project's. Usually they list these under Buell not specific to the S2 when you do a search. |
