Ok, ok. I know you will try to say that the black Uly is the stealth model (orange is faster!), but I'm from Missouri. Has nobody tried the camo body set out yet? You'd be completely invisible! I have this paint set sitting at the shop... just pulling at my inner ozark heritage to put it on one of our bikes. Anyone have pics installed on their own bike? |

Josh, that stuff is too pricey for most of us IMO, and also IMO not enough treatment for the right results. Now if ALL the painted body parts/frame/fenders etc. were done, and the engine/forks/headers etc. were done in charcoal black... Saw a guy's R100RS BMW once painted like a Me163 Komet, wasn't for me but I'd admit the effect was kind of cool. |

I've not seen it in person, but the pics online look , not to mention they're hella expensive. I doubt we'll see too many on the road. |

If I could find a set for about $500 bones I think I would put it on my bike, but $750+ is too much dough. |

The only thing that surprised me about them is that they didn't use "Realtree" pattern. Its more like a desert camo. Pricey... I agree it seams a little expensive, but then again, I'm cheap. Err, thrifty. That sounds better. |

Why not just contact a company like this: http://www.camoclad.com/ They could send you a film kit that you could wrap over your existing parts. Shouldn't cost you more than $100 to do the whole thing. |

Lancaster Harley/Buell has one on the floor with all the camo on it. |

I looked at the camoclad stuff. sounded like a real PITA to put on? I told them to use MossyOak or Realtree camo but did they listen to me? Nnnooooooo. To me, that would've been awesome exposure. Be a Uly in every hunting magazine. Have Bill Jordan or Michael Waddell for Reatree or Toxey Haas for MossyOak riding one during their hunting shows. It would've been seen by millions of hunters/outdoorsmen and women. Huge opportunities for promo giveaways and other cool stuff. Geesh, I am such a dunce. |

Camo-smamo. Of all the stoopit offerings... If they had offered other colors, patterns, etc. it might be interesting. This ain't no four-wheeler..it's a sport adventure bike. Sheesh. Blending is the last thing we should wanna do. Perhaps feeling a bit cranky today... Happy holidays! |

Actually, while I'm not particular to blue, someone on here has a good looking Buell racing blue paint scheme on a Uly and they have a blue Toyota FJ to go with it. It is a pretty sharp setup. Then again, anything is better than black. |

"I doubt we'll see too many on the road." Of course you won't see them, that's the point...they're camouflaged. |

Daves, what's up your sleeve? A price hack on the ultra-expensive camo body pieces? |

I think rattle cans of flat camo paint could do a woodland pattern for cheap. That camo thing that Buell came out with will be collecting dust where ever a dealer is unlucky enough to stock one. |

They have a camo Uly at Cowboy HD/Buell in South Austin TX. It looks a LOT cooler in person than it did on the website. |

My buddy has now had his installed. It looks awesome in person. He had the 1000mile service, had the three hard bags and racks attached along with all the camo parts. I was jealous a bit. But I still love my City-X with all of its bags. |
