Yes it is true that I missed the IMS... but I did get to see my Canadian palos over at Bob&Deb's. PLUS I went out riding with same on Sunday... it was a great day, and I did the best wheelie of my Hooligan career. Yup. Also had a heck of a good time to boot. I like these motorcycle gizmos. sooner, Galen |

Did I mention that I almost ran over Bob? I don't think he noticed, but when we were just pulling into Puyallup (I thought) we were REALLY making a right. Bob's on the inside, me outside, he starts braking and I start figuring out whats really happening. Both tires are hoppin' down the bunny trail as I dropped enough speed to not have to drop Betty. Weee! What will we do this weekend? sooner, Galen |

Shotgun When you led that awesome ride through Oregon on the Thursday of SPLASH, did we ride Hwy 47 from Clatskanie to Mist? Apparently 117 corners in 11 miles. There is an awesome video called Dragon Unleashed at http://www.drsardonicus.com of this guy shreading that highway in an R1. Check it out it's very cool. Cheers FunJimmy |

FunJimmy, we did that road but it wasn't near as good as Hwy 53 or the road from Beaver to Carlton. Need a new video. |

Shotgun I checked out a map and thought that was the route you took us on. First rides you're never really sure of where you've been. Lets do that route again next year. Maybe then I'll start to remember. How's Gina? Cheers FunJimmy |

Jimmy, poor Gina feels neglected. No rides since our last speeding ticket. Lawyer pleaded us not guilty and asked for a trial date. He is trying to talk the arresting officer into reducing the speed (90) or recommending traffic school. |

HELLO HELLO HELLO... is there anybody out there? I know, we are all caught up in the Merry Mumble that is wizzing by every where I seem to look. So I just wanted to say Happy Crimble to all my friends, the new one's and the well worn one's, the fast one's and the safe one's, I just can't wait to see you all next year. sooner, Galen |

Yo, ditto here. Warm regards to all. I will have 2 of my 3 grown chillin' for Christmas and that's a good thing. I have one more week of "work" before I retire (again). I love my new place in the woods. We call it Happy Hollow, cuz that's the name of the road we are on. In January we will try marketing our home in Portland ourselves (trying to save that $25,000 or so that the realtors want to charge for what?). I have 2 grandbabies on the way. Life is good. |

Hope everyone is getting geared up for the Christmas weekend. Well, a couple of weeks ago I did something to my shoulder (at least I thought it was my shoulder) which hurt for about a week and caused the tips of three of my fingers to go numb. The doctor put me on some nsaid's and physical therapy. They think I managed to do something to a nerve in my neck. After a few weeks of pt, (neck stretches, ultrasonic therapy, and neck traction) the numbness is gone from one finger and decreased to just the tips of the other two. However, they've also mentioned the beginnings of carpal tunnel which would cause me to have to seriously reconsider riding a sport bike. I'm waiting to hear from the doc to see if I have to have some imaging done. I am seriously hoping it's just some nerve damage that will just take some time to heal. It's far better than the alternative of carpal tunnel, especially as it relates to future motorcycling. Here's to a healthy new year for all of us! |

Lurker! I admit it. Eric, do you have a good chiropractor? Two years ago when I was renovating our kitchen, I shifted my right shoulder blade during the demo. This put pressure on a nerve that had a similar effect on my right hand. I was bothering me that whole weekend at SPLASH ’04. When I returned home and saw my Chiropractor he set things straight and all was good. I know that the established medical community doesn’t buy into Chiropractic manipulation but I’ve found that there is a significant relationship well being and skeletal alignment. To all the rest of you lurkers and non-lurkers in the North West! Have yourselves a Very Merry Christmas and belly busting Happy New Year! New Years resolution: To spend more time riding with my friends on both sides of the 49th parallel. OK. It’s on record. Now lets plan the first ride of the new year. Cheers to all FunJimmy |

Try and find the time to join us for Splash this year. You'll find a separate listing here in the Storm Fronts titled “10th Anniversary Splash Ride”. Should be extra special and shouldn’t be missed. I picked up the poor man’s Mille a couple of years ago, an RC51. Twins are so addictive. Anyhow, all the best of the Holiday Season and hope we see you out there soon. Jimmy |
