Set your vcr and get a group together for a mid winter race fix.
The inaugural 8 hour MotoST race from Daytona will be on SPEEDtv Dec. 17 3pm
Watch for the Buells, (and especially #70 Jamesgang Racing, we finished 2nd in the GST class!)
Several of us from Badweb were on the crew!
It's a 1 hour condensed program of the 8 hour race.
Should be exciting!

Yeah, that was a fueling fire in the pits. But they went on to take second place on that bike. Great team work. They were very responsive. Congrats again guys!

It was very cool to see all the Buell shod leathers on the podium!!

It was also great to see motorcycle racing getting that kind of TV time. I know BMW paid big bucks to advertise and it was a cool commercial and I hope Buell will get into advertising went these races are televised as well.

With the big dollar backing this series has, it will be interesting to watch it grow! Heck they're going to race here in Iowa later this year, can't wait to check it out!

Dang, I can't get involved this year, you've got to have a year of racing experience under your belt to qualify. I think I could scare up a couple of guys an do a three hour event like the one coming to Iowa Speedway in Newton.

The show obviously was not listed on SPEED as "Motorcycle Racing", as I have the TIVO set to record ALL of those, and the only thing it got was Canadian motorcross that day. So I missed it too.

The Buell spread on pages 10 & 11. The three track shots & the podium shot are mine. Bilansky taking the Thunderbike win is one of my favorites of the whole weekend. For me to get both riders and the checker flag... I was quite happy when I checked to see if I got the shot.

I looked on the Speed web site to see if they had it as a web based movie in there archives and could not find it. Does anyone have it taped/recorded or know where I can get a copy?
