i have been looking into getting a fairing for my balst. although i like the cafe racer style fairing i want something a little differant and one that offers some good protection. i have looked at Givi A770 and seem to like the specs on this. anyone use one of these? i was wondering how hard it is to install. also if anyone has any pics of there blast with this fairing on it i sure would like to see them. thanks George |

Nytrashman, Click over to the "Got thump" pictures area of Thumper's Forum, then go to Cafe Racers pics. Check the old archives there as well. Great pics! |

i did look through the archive pics and found a few fairings that i think look good. i am trying to figure out which brand & model they are. i also like both the fairings offered by J C Whitney. they are just so many blasted choices i'm not sure which one to get. |

Just PM someone that has one that you like. Most of us are more than happy to discuss any aspect of our bike! Sorry, I don't have a Blast. although I do "have a blast" on my Firebolt! I have always thought it was unfortunate that the Blast is commonly called a "Be last" in some circles. (Not any more - this bike is capable of winning singles races - proven - see racing section! - Custodian) (Message edited by ezblast on September 30, 2006) |

nytrashman - here is one angle of the Givi A602 on our Blast. It is a bit large, but I am thankful for that when it is 35 degrees out.

The bags were a little droopy at that point. That was the first trip that my wife ever did on her Blast. We figured out how to cinch them up so they were better mounted. |

JLB, How tall is the A602 in comparison to the optional Blast windscreen? |

I have never seen the Buell windscreen in person, but from the pictures I've seen I'd say they are about the same. |

I may have put my GIVI pic in the wrong place. For Christmas my husband mounted a GIVI A760 and Cortech Sport Bags on for me. He mounted the bags with bolts through the net-hooks under frame. He temporarily put polycarbonate sheets inside and outside the bags for stability and support until we can find a metal stand-off to use. The pic is posted in the GIVI A750 post. |

My husband just gave me an early Christmas present. A set of Cortech Sport Saddle Bags and a GIVI A760 screen. He was able to mount the screen with the stock brackets on the bottom, just needed longer bolts. At the top he mounted the screen to the stock mirrors. An added benefit: my mirrors no longer shake, rattle & roll!
