well fellow badwebers, i sold my blast and picked up a new BMW F 650 GS for a trip i am planing to make from NY to Alaska the summer of '08. i would like to thank everyone who helped and advised me when i had my blast. the advice i recieved made the short time i had with the blast thoughly enjoyable. this site is one of the best on the web, you people are helpful & friendly and even though new owners like myself ask the same questions over and over everyone here answered my questions without hessitation. had i not found this site my time with the blast would not have been as enjoyable as it was. thank you all once again and i will comtinue to visit every once in awhile just to say hello. Congrats on a nice bike! That was my other choice and if I had to have only one motorcycle to fit all my needs, between the Blast and the BMW, I would have chosen the 650. |

I've been reading the book written by George's friend (and I assume his inspiration) Piet, about his trips to Alaska from NY. I highly recommend picking up a copy for the cold months. |

Heck no! You'd probably pick some muddy off road thing - lol - those are really nice bikes and something Buell should have went after in a Blast motor style. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

That looks neat for a dual sport. I am so not a fan of that genre of bike though. I like dirt bikes, and I like street bikes, but personally I wouldn't want a dual sport. Just like bikes that focus on one thing I guess. |
