Looks like several groups are talking about March Badness already. I have C3 Central lined up already. I know that Clown has the demo truck lined up for Friday, March 30 through Sunday, April 1. If these dates hold, who's interested? VA, SC or TN Buellers?? I will need to get a headcount so we can talk about $$ per person and be prepared for snacks, breakfast, drinks and beer, etc. If we bring 2-3 air mattresses, we will probably be able to have a max of 14 people. I'd rather not front the $$ this time and ask that all committing send their money so I can just pay for the cabin. Last year it ran about $70 per person including money for drinks, etc. Once we get a head count we can determine how much per person. Once again I'll be driving the Suburban (and probably towing the trailer) loaded with food, beer, etc. Thoughts, suggestions, comments.......

I have one potential conflict. If I have to keep that date, I'm out. If I don't have to keep it, I'm in! |

NUTS is trying to square away the time. He enjoys discussing his plans in third person too! |

Looking at meeting the NY crew at the Dragon on Friday, March 30, 2007. I haven't made up my mind if I am going to ride up Thursday afternoon and stay the night up there or ride up Friday morning. Plan to ride the Dragon Friday and then ride down to Suches for MBIV. Anyone else interested? |

Mike - I was wondering when you were going to jump in. A great thing about Buell discontinuing BRAG is that it was the only thing that was keeping us from talking to other dealers in the area. You are more than welcome and tell your customers about us. Several Ray Price customers and former employees are already part of the group. This shin dig in Suches is growing like crazy. I have gone to the area twice and both times it was the best over all event I have gone to. The Plan is to... Ride to the Dragon (Thursday Night / Friday?) Ride there till we have are fill or about 3pm Friday. Ride the two hours or so down to Suches. I say two hours because I was planning to take the same route I took last year. This means NS-4 (Fire Road) over a mountain pass to GA-60 just north of Suches. Though I took this route because I was on the Uly, any bike can make the ride. The road is hard pack combination of Rock / Gravel / Dirt, but your butt will prefer a compliant suspension. Some may not want to take the trek on the fire road so they can stay on surface roads down US-129 to GA-180 Wolf Pen Gap Road. Wolf Pen Gap road will rival the Dragon on technical parts and is a lot of fun to ride. MBIV - Saturday & Sunday You will see bikes of all types at T.W.O. It is the Motorcycle destination for those in the area including Atlanta. There was allot of Buells plus allot of other bikes there too. There was a group of two-stroke sport bikes the first year I went up there. We have the cabin reserved again for the weekend. That's Friday and Saturday nights. T.W.O. also has primitive camp sites available. The rooms and mobile home are usually reserved for 3%ers but you can reserve a camp site for the weekend. There are also other cabins in the area. For those interested in staying with us in the cabin, speak up. The plan is to fill up the cabin so cost for each is less. Once we have either the cabin full or need to pay the owner, we will need to collect the funds. Head home (Sunday Afternoon / Monday?) |

Great, Mike! I'm sure that monster of a BMW will get lots of attention. Bigger bike than I expected it to be, but damn nice. Two locals at the General Store where guesstimating the engine size. I kept my mouth shut and let them look it over. It was nice to get out and ride with you. Too bad the race track you found was closed. I probably would have joined you for a few laps. As far as the Badness goes, I'll try to make a decision by next weekend. Pat and I are still going over our vacation days. Kristi, I'll try to let you know something soon. Mike S |

C3 If NUTS is in he'll be camping away. Pints of Guinness and riding (even eleven miles) is a no go proposition. I'm attempting to circle the wagons for the other VA deadbeats, but, well they are deadbeats! Is it March yet? NUTS |

OK - so far this is the headcount for the CABIN. Let me know if I have something wrong! The plan is to check in on Friday and check out on Sunday - 2 nights stay. Twig - 2 M2nc - 2 Webe - 1 Rubberdown - 1 Mikethebike72 - 1 Bigdaddy - 1 Ft_bstrd - 1 (definite maybe!) Xb9ser - 1 We can have a max of 14 in the cabin. We will bring one air mattress and sleeping bag if someone needs it. There are 3 double or queen beds, 4 twin beds and room for 3 air mattresses in the basement. I will put in vacation now. I wish I had more time to check stuff out on here, so if someone could e-mail me when important stuff , like paying, comes up, that would be great. E-mail is my username @yahoo dot com. Who would be interested in an ERC together? I have an inside track to making one happen if there is interest. |

I'm in! Probably do something a little longer myself. After 4 more months of working my "stuff" off, I'll want to get away for more than a marathon trip down and back. I couldn't get my 'Demo' ride video posted to the web. Does anyone have a small digital recorder that I could use on one day while we are down there. I would likle to video tape the group on some curves, both forward and rearward at the same time. My digital camera with 1gb card allows me to record 180 minutes of video, but only one way. |
