Just picked up a 2002 X1. Our local dealer has a 1999-2000 service manual sitting on the bargain/mark-down table. Would it suffice for most repairs? In particular the stator/voltage regulator diagnosis and replacement procedure, as the bike I bought has charging issues. |

Shouldnt be too much difference. Look and see what year the service manual was printed... Mine is for the X1(for obvious reasons), and in the begining of each chapter, its states any differences in 99-00, and 01-02. If you want, email me at my s/n @ hotmail PM for ME isnt working, as my work mail is jacked up... Chase |

I'll have to run back down there and see what year it was printed. However, I believe it was pre-2001. It is old stock they are trying to get rid of. |

Aeholton: You might want to give Toledo HD/Buell a call. They had a few Buell service manuals on the mark down table but I don't remember if there was an X1 manual or not. They were about $20. Mark |
