It's da shizzle! OK, I have no idea what "shizzle" means, or even if it's a real slang word. But this is pretty cool! http://195.224.59.217/news/archives_2000/news_deta ils.asp?id=4889 |

Dude, that is cool and crazy! I could not even begin to imagine the pain and expense to learn these stunts. It hurts just thinking about it. But way cool to watch! |

G234146..... That Wikipedia entry is INSANE. Someone went to an awful lot of trouble to intelligently explain and chronicle something so utterly useless! ~SM |

I guess it's a cool record... now how about somebody ride a Buell across a finish line ahead of some other bikes for once...? |

Wow!!! that a simple request Pwnzor. Although it has already been done. You seem like a very unhappy person inside. |

That is funny, since in it's very first race ever, an XBRR came out the victor running head-to-head against a superbike spec Ducati 999. Since then, it's won national endurance races, the supertwins sprint race at Bol d'Or in France and other races of note. |

You seem like a very unhappy person inside. And you seem prematurely judgmental. I have no idea why you would say such a thing, honestly. -------------------------------------------- On the subject of races, the only place I've ever seen anyone claim that an XBRR or any other Buell for that matter has won an official race is here on BadWeB. Really, I've just not seen anyone claiming this. Please post a link to some governing body's official results for a race with a Buell in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, believe me I'd be thrilled to read about it. I just spent the last 15 minutes searching for "Buell Victories" using Google. I found ONE race where an XB9R came in first. It was 3 years ago. Let's be realistic, we all love our bikes, I'm always on about how I love my XB12R, never have problems with it, etc. But when it comes to winning races, I just don't see the evidence. The stoppie record is admirable, but I'd really like to see some won races. I don't need Buell to win races for me to love the bike I bought after months of careful shopping for what I really wanted. But it would be kind of cool. I'm happy either way. I certainly don't brag about what I don't have, and I don't try to tell other people how they feel. |

They've cleared the 06 results already, but watch here: http://www.ccsracing.us/schedules/2007/schedule.ht ml for Buells to clean up in LWSS, LWSB, GTLights, LWGP, and of course Thunderbike for the XBR/S models, Supertwins, and middleweight classes, + team and solo challenges for the XBRRs that come out. Both on a regional (CCS) and national (ASRA, formerly FormulaUSA)level. |

Pwozor not to bust your chops but in the last couple days its been a running joke for you about annony post's to complimenting Blake about the Porch when are you going to do something about the interior,to when is Buell going to finish a race in front of some other bikes for once. I don't know,I'm not trying to start an argument with you but it seem's like you are looking for argument. And when someone look's for argument they are a unhappy person also why I said what I did. We all try to enjoy this sight and enjoy it together is what will make it the best and most informative place to be. |

I don't know you, don't care about you, and therefore you can't possibly bust my chops. If you spend that much time following my posts then you would perhaps benefit from self evaluation. Your comments past, present or future warrant no further response from me. To the rest of you, I concede the point that Buells have won a few races. Perhaps the illusion I was misguided by is based on the fact that the number of races in which Buells are actually entered are small when compared to the overall number of motorcycle races that take place in general. I mean, you just don't hear about Buells winning or even racing at all unless you're looking for the information specifically. Perhaps the motorcycle media is jaded to the point of excluding it from mention, but alas it is no matter. I didn't buy a race bike, I bought a street bike. I'm very happy with it. |

Pwnzor I didn't follow your posts I read this board and also have been involved with some of the same threads as you so its kinda hard to miss.....sorry. Read Road racing World it may be not so small. For instance Paul James 10 win's 26 second's 14 thirds 64 starts 50 podium's and a second place finish in a 8 hour endurance race. Not bad for a season. |

The rules for most race classes specifically those that get the most TV time are classes with engine size requirements that Buell does not fit in to. Don't you remember the uproar when the rules were changed to allow Buell to compete in the Formula Extreme series. Shortly thereafter the Honda members on the decision making board stepped down from their positions in some sort of protest I suppose. Anyway, Buell's involvement in racing is on the rise not the decline...now that they (Buell racing) have a year under their belts with the XBRR, let's see what happens next year and how competitive we can be. Here is a famous quote "The people with the most experience are the ones who have made the most mistakes." now that last years mistakes (parts breakage, the pit mishap, etc.) are behind them lets see how a more "experienced" Buell racing squad will do. I for one am excited to see them competing, and creating more awareness about their bikes and using technology gained from racing to improve the street version of the bikes. And even if Buell never won another official race...that would not lessen how much I love my Firebolt. Pwnzor...your posts overall have been mostly positive and helpful to others, you've just opened yourself up to some backlash by offending some people with some things you've said lately...most of us here are absolute Buell fanatics, and when someone steps on your toes your first instinct is to shove that person away. So, when someone responds harshly to you they are doing so in defense of one of the following (their bike, this website, or Buell the company)so keep that in mind and take what is said in context of how that person feels about what they have read. No hard feelings man, just don't talk about my sister again...j/k |
