Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a low rise fuel tank? I think these were used on road race bikes back in the tube frame days. Here are some pictures of what I am talking about.

Could I perhaps interest you in the entire bike? I know of one that's looking for a new home |

No spares? I already have a S1 street bike, a X1 lands speed bike and 2 bare X1 frames. I am pretty full up on chassis right now. But I can always be temped. If I were interested, I would want it without an engine. Never mind. I really just want a tank for my X1 land speed bike. Email me at baileyj76@hotmail.com if you want to talk about this. Jeff |

THe spares are on the "B" bike. The tanks are about as common as hens teeth - there weren't that many to begin with and who knows where they are now? I"m not sure what the rules state for your X1 racer, but it may be an easier/cheaper route to modify a stock X1 tank or have an Aluminum tank made. The race tanks would also have to be tweaked quite a bit to fit on the X1. |

Weren't those made by a company called Fast Company back in the day? I don't think they are even in business anymore. |
